This injector seat cutting tool is brilliant!! I'm not an expert just a tinkerer but I replaced my copper seals only to notice the seat wasn't level, so purchased this tool and it did the job easily!! You just have to make sure the right part is in there and mine was the 17x17 flat reamer so perfect!! I highly recommend this tool to make your seating jobs simple and fast

Good quality for money, not the best but very reliable for amateur diy.

Used this to recut the seats to my diesel injectors. Very easy to set up and use, cut well leaving a nice clean smooth base which sealed well against the injectors. Variety of sizes so easy to get one that will fit. Top tip use a bit of grease to catch any swarf.

Used to recut & clean the injector seats on my 320D N47 diesel engine. Started using the 17x17 flat cutter & the grub screw does stick out so I filed it down leaving enough depth for allen key to bite for tightening & loosening. Switched to the 19x17 which fitted the bore better but again had to file down the grub screw but not so much. Also had to reduce the diameter of the holding pin a fraction with a drill sander. Using a vernier it measured the same diameter as the injector pin but in practice it was a fraction oversize. So a bit of faffing about but in the end it got the job done & cleaned up the seats nicely.
