It really works, even on sensitive light skin
I have really fair, sensitive skin but this actually WORKS!!!! I was so surprised. It did not give me any breakouts, rashes or issues at all. It also really made me look tan after only one light application! I was careful to avoid my eyebrows and to blend it in well to my hairlike and neck. After only a few hours it looks like natural color from the sun. I got a few compliments that I looked tan. I actually washed it off, then applied moisturizer and my regular makeup because I wasn't sure how it would hold up if I kept it on all day with makeup over it. I will probably continue to use it here and there for color during the winter time. I am pairing it with the natural glow body moisturizer.

Great, cost-effective product
Doesn't smell bad, my face doesn't burn, and it gives me a little natural looking color.

Works great! But stains everything
Not sure what all the other reviews are talking about. I have been using this for two years. Never had any issues with streaking. I guess I blend it in more. I'm also Polish and pale, leaves a nice hint of color on my face but not noticeably fake. I appreciate that. I also blend into my neck and shoulders lightly so that I don't have just an orange face. This helps the color fade gradually and not look like foundation. Have sensitive skin as well and gave not experienced any breakouts from this product. My only complaint, and the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5, is if you don't wash it off your hands immediately it will stain the insides of your fingers, and it's very hard to get off. Also will stain white clothing and pillows if used as a nighttime moisturizer, which is what I do to have a hint of color the next day.

This is the best self tanner out there
I have used Jergen's Natural Glow for years, and it is truly the best self tanner out there. I don't even bother wasting my money trying out other self tanners, because I'm always disappointed in the results, and I always return to Jergen's. I use both the face and body natural glows. I don't tan as easy as I used to and this lotion is a great way to get my tan started and also enhance my tan. I can only speak for the fair to light color, as I have never used the medium to dark, but it does not make your skin orange like many other self tanners. It is just like the name says, a natural glow. I had a friend who had skin cancer years ago, and when I met up with her shortly after her diagnosis, I was so mad at her because she had this beautiful tan, not dark, just a nce golden color. She began laughing when I was ripping into her about tanning after having skin cancer, and she told me she was using Jergen's Natural Glow. I've been a fan of this stuff ever since.

Skin irritation; not sure if it works; suncreen smell
This was my first time using a self tanner so I tried to track the progress as best as I could (pictures taken in the same place with same lighting). My face is pale compared to the rest of my body since i don't like the sun in my face and i want to minimize sun damage/ aging as much as possible- a face self tanner seemed like the perfect solution so i don't have to wear foundation/ bronzer makeup all the time to give me some color! Per the description you are supposed to see more of a difference by day 7; I was only able to make it to day 6 because the lotion cause a scaley irritated patch on my face and caused me to break out- a couple notes on this however: my typical routine is wash my face in the morning, apply toner, apply moisturizer- after receiving this lotion I used this as my moisturizer in my routine. I noticed that every time I applied toner some of the tanner appeared to be coming off (orangey residue on cotton ball); I figured this was stunting the development of the tan so on day 4 I stopped using toner and just applied the lotion. This irritated my skin immediately- my face felt greasy (I have normal to dry skin) but I tried it for 2 days and then the scaley patch and breakout developed. I think I would have been fine if I kept using the toner and using lotion as my moisturizer as far as the irritation goes (no discomfort prior to discontinuing toner) and maybe the tan would have still been more noticeable by day 7? I did find an article regarding face self tanners for sensitive skin written by dermatologists (this product was on their recommended list by the way) and the way they recommended use of these products is to first apply your regular moisturizer (to ensure your face is moisturized prior to applying the self tanner) and then apply the self tanner (not sure what they would recommend specifically for this product since it is intended to be a moisturizer)- I did try this process once (also added toner back into my routine) and it felt fine; however at this point I was pretty much done with the product and focusing mostly on healing the damage done to my face (which took about 4 days to heal). After further research I switched to Isle of Paradise self tanning drops (medium) since these can be added into my current moisturizer and they don't have the tanner smell (these work great so far!); I think the SPF is a factor in the skin irritation I experienced- the lotion is very comparable to face sunscreen (I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and normal sunscreen without the bottle description)

Natural but noticeable results!
I LOVE this stuff. I've tried tanning drops like Isle of paradise but found that they just have a less natural looking hue on me compared to this product. I'm naturally extremely pale, especially in these winter months in the midwest, so I like to use this at night before bed...usually just 2 nights in a row to accumulate the level of shade that I want, and then it lasts me the rest of the week (about 5 days) before I'll apply again. I have a good routine with this. I wash my face with my hands and use toning pads with acids in them, and I do see some color on the pads with this, but my face still looks "tanned" enough to last me the rest of the week. If you're someone that physically exfoliates with brushes or scrubs, you may need to apply it more often than what I do. I use the "pale to medium" version. See my photo of how pale I get in winter - compare the back of my hand to my face! Yet it still looks natural when applies to my face and neck, and people do tell me that my skin looks nice and "glows". I will say this stuff is a bit thick and may cause a clogged pore here or there IF you use a ton of it and don't have a good skincare routine. But this hasn't been an issue for me now that I use my toning pads daily. I have redness from keratosis Pilaris and rosacea on my face, and this helps minimize that so I'm comfortable with how my face looks daily without ever using face makeup!

Excellent product
I have used for years. Sensitive to my rosacea prone skin. Goes on great! No streaking. Subtle color. Excellent product!
