**Q: What country is it made in?**
A: Philippines. Not USA.

**Q: Is it possible to take out the water bladder and just use the backpack?**
A: Yes.  The bladder is removable and you could then use it as a small backpack.

**Q: My hose keeps getting a kink in it when I drink.  How do I avoid this?**
A: are you saying that the tube itself has a crease in it like it was folded and then pinched?  Can you tell if the hose is damaged in some way (funny colors or marks)?  If so I would guess that it needs replaced and that would probably require a conversation with the company directly.  Otherwise you would have to insert a second tube into where the damage is to reinforce it, and I would assume that it would start to degrade and start to leak at that point.  Good luck

**Q: will the crux 100oz short fit this pack?**
A: I'm not 100% sure on that, the short looks pretty Wide in comparison with the 100oz Crux that's inside the bag.

It took me a while to take this out on a run because I hurt my back right after I bought it. When I finally first used it, I was disappointed as the reservoir leaked for the whole race. I did a bunch of troubleshooting afterwards and just couldn't get it to stop. It was leaking out of the sealing ring, but not the theaded cover itself. I was pretty sure I was outside of what I consider the "easy warranty" period so, disheartened, I purchased an alternative and this one gathered dust. However, a few months ago, I was told that CamelBak has great customer service, and there should be a lifetime warranty on this product. So, I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to find the warranty period was very easy and they absolutely did warranty the reservoir without any argument. I received the replacement last week, and it is free of the defects the original had. They've made a longtime consumer out of me. Thanks for the great service CamelBak!
