Cole, Ninja of Earth (LEGO Nnjago: Chapter Book) (LEGO Ninjago)

My boys (6 & 4) love the Ninjago line by Lego and this book is no exception. It has two stories about Cole - the Ninja of Earth and the leader of the team. They were riveted by the story, choosing to have this book read to them above all other activities. The book itself was decent and I appreciated that the language used wasn't "dumbed" down for the young readers. There were several words that my son had to ask the meaning of and also others that were new to him that he was able to learn through contextual use, such as "placid" and "tummultuous" and "descended". All together a good read.

It’s a great book to read with my nephew. It’s easy & fun to ready and gives a good intel on Cole himself in the beginning.

It was on my nephew's wish list , so I bought it for him for Christmas. He liked it, so I liked it. He's a pretty fast reader and will probably have this and the other books I bought all read before the end of Christmas break, but thankfully he reads his Ninjago books more than once.

My 7yo son absolutely enjoyed it. Typically, I read to him at night. As I was getting ready to settle down to read to him, I found him reading the book on his own. Clearly, it's a book he enjoyed.

This books is just above the inbetweener levels of reading. We were ready for a first chapter book and this was perfect. There is another ninja go book that was for kids inbetween picture books and chapter books but this was perfect as it was just a bit above that.My nephew loves ninja go and he was so excited!
