Aegis Series for LG Optimus G2 - Retail Packaging - Pink

I got this case for my dad.He has a history of either:A. Losing his phoneB. Getting his phone stolenC. Breaking his phoneSick and tired of all my poor hand-me-down phones getting mauled and obliterated to the shadow realm with my father, I decided my father needed a heavy duty case. He's a mobile mechanic so he's out and about a lot. At the time, I had a defected Otterbox for my Samsung S3 and I loved it. So I said, "Dad, you need an Otterbox. I'll buy you one, just tell me what color you want."The Otterboxes were too expensive for my father, being the cheap man that he is.So I shopped around some more and found this gem. I told him other colors were cheaper but he wanted the black one. So I said, "Whatever, it's your money, not mine."This case works like this: silicone lining around your phone then a firm plastic backing to keep it together. This case was worth every hour I searched for a good case. Kept his phone clean and pristine longer than any other cellular device he's had in the past 20 years I've been born.Then one day, he takes it off. Doesn't say why but he says he likes how it feels in his hand without the case. I shrug my shoulders and tell him I understand. I know. I've took my Otterbox off my phone every month to give it a good thorough cleaning. I also tell him to put his case back on before he leaves the house.He doesn't.That very same day, I watch as the phone slips out of his hand, lands corner first and bounces along the pavement before skidding to a halt in street face down. I stand there, sheer dread in my stomach. My father picks up his phone and I don't even need to look to see that the screen is wrecked. Cracks all over, shattered glass, the whole shebang. He turns to me, upset and I can only stare at him dead in the eye and tell him quietly with an all righteous voice, "I told you to keep your case on."5/5 stars for protecting my father's phone while it was on the phone.

Cell phone cases, I've had them all from the first gen silicone skin cases for cell phones bigger than a brick to the full on MilSpec super otterbox cases. If you need the security of knowing your case will protect from your every day accidents. Of course if you need full, drop in water protection you should move on but Titan ageis cases in my opinion and experience offer the same as the otterbox commuter case, this one even comes with a screen protector and its independent and not attached to the case like the OB. Which is a good thing cause it seals out dust from the screen. The port dust covers on this offer okay protection from splashes, light rain, spills but, again this is not a full on water proof case, but they do help and it still has room for all my headphones plugs so far, even by big shure 535s fit. Now the folks with audio echo issues simply need to lower their headset volume, everyone hears me clearly as long as the volume isn't jacked all the way up its clear unlike my experience with the bulkier more expensive competition. Titan has been my go to case protection for a few years now and deserveidly so.In fact just two days after receiving my Titan case and putting it on I left my phone on the back of my truck when loading groceries, then took off driving ten minutes home before realizing my phone is on the city streets, place unknown. So I get an email saying someone had found my new G2 and thank goodness id programed my home screen with the words: " email X address for a reward" Upon getting my phone back I was told how they saw the phone fly off the back of my truck and bounce several times before resting three feet in front of these blessed folk's. The phone was in perfect shape and most amazingly the case was also in perfect condition. This is not the first time or phone I've done this to but every one which had a Titan survived, pick a color a buy this case if you want to keep for phone safe from your normal non submerged use.

I'm a first time smart phone user so after looking around for a protective case for my new LG G2, I decided to get this one because many reviewers say it's one of the top cases for the LG G2 and plus the pink was too cute to pass up.Like others, I too had the same echo problem. I didn't feel like going on another hunt for another case that could have the same problem, so I tried to solve the problem myself - I took an exacto-knife and took the weird little filter screen off the speaker hole on the pink casing (surprisingly not shown on the amazon pictures then viewing the case), and also cut the black rubber wider so it was not covering up any of the speaker holes. Also for good measure, I sliced off the little flap covering the speaker holes with the headphone jack (only because I honestly didn't know which side was the one giving me trouble).No more echo any more!It feels weird having to slice parts of the case up to work, but like I said before, I didn't want to try case hunting again only to end up with another one that had echo problems.Other than that, the rest of the case is great. Not super bulky, comes in many cool colors. I never accidentally dropped my phone from a high height yet, so I can't say anything of how well it'll protect, but for now I'm trusting it will.It was also pretty neat that it came with a screen protector, but sadly I'm horrible at applying them. So, after so many ties and getting it too dirty, I threw i mine away...
