All the klippan sofas from ikea are called loveseats -- so can i assume there is only one size of klippan? ours is about 70 5/8" wide. will this fit?

Yes. All the klippan covers fit our loveseat. This one did for sure!

Is the cover waterproof?

This fabric is not waterproof, but it is machine washable. Do not bleach

Ikea shows the klippan loveseat to be 180 cm long, but this cover says it’s 143cm. can someone explain?

I didnt compare sizing, but it fits ours. Only place the cover seems bulky is where it tucks into the seat cushion in the corners.
