It will stiffen and protect it but it won't make it stick. This is a great alternative. I know it’s not it’s intended purpose, but it works like a charm. I just dip a makeup brush into it, apply to my scalp section by section, then massage in line a wet shampoo and brush out the excess. Honestly it’s the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I expect one bottle to last at least a year, so it’s really inexpensive.
