I have two large, active dogs and each one eats twice a day so I go through a lot of dog food. A 35 lb. bag lasts a couple of weeks, tops. I got really sick of fighting with a giant bag of dog food. The food starts to get stale and the dogs start to get picky about eating it. The bag slumps over or, even worse, falls over and spills. It attracts bugs. You get the idea.I gambled on this thinking it would probably self-destruct the first time I poured 35 lbs. of kibble into it. I'm glad to say that I was wrong. As soon as I got it I washed it out to make sure there was no residue from the molding process that would give the food a strange odor or taste. After drying it I installed the wheels and poured a full bag of food into it. No problems at all.I've had this for almost 2 years now. It still seals tightly and I can't tell you how many bags of food have gone through. The plastic has held up absolutely fine-- not a crack anywhere, which surprises me because I'm not gentle with it when I dump the food in. I perch the bag on the top lip of the open container and use a utility knife to cut a flap into the bottom of it. The food dumps out in a couple of seconds and I don't have to try to shake around to get it to empty out.The wheels roll around easily even with a full bag of food in it, which is nice because I have to move it around to sweep or mop. My only minor complaint is that the casters at the bottom are stem-mount and there's not enough of a friction fit to keep them from falling out if you pick up the bin. But since I hardly ever to that, it's not a problem.A bag of Kirkland dog food from Costco fills this bin with about an inch of room to spare, so if you're tempted to buy a 50 lb. bag you won't be able to dump the whole thing in. That's not a problem for me, and this bin has made storing my dog food something that I don't have to think about, which is exactly how it should be.

I buy my Malinois the 33lb bag of Purina Pro Sport and this fits the entire bag; sides of the container bow out a bit, but the lid keeps the food air-tight and fresh for the 2months she eats through the bag. The wheels are a smooth roll and makes it easy to maneuver where I want it (and where I don’t).I def recommend this to others((Namely posted for the confirmation that this fits a 33lb bag of dog kibble))

Purchased this in 2 sizes. One for cat and one for dog food. 2 years later and still working great! I love that they are easy to move! My only issue is the lid on the bigger one doesn't want to stay propped up when open like the smaller one does.

The media could not be loaded. We love this! Not only is it very sturdy and HUGE, but it’s portable with wheels that were very easy to put on. It holds a large bag of dog or cat food with no problems. The plastic is thick and of good quality. The scoop comes in handy too! I’m not sure that it’s airtight as the latch doesn’t seem to catch as well as I expected (almost like it’s the wrong size), but as you can see in the video when I try to pull up on the lid with the latch down, the lid stays put. So don’t expect an airtight vacuum seal, but rather just a secure lid. Other than that, it’s a great storage piece for a lot of whatever you need it for.

I purchased this specifically because it claims to hold 50lbs of dry dog/cat food and it's on wheels! I thought this would be a perfect fit and make feeding the dog a whole lot easier for my son.Recieved on time, great packaging and condition. Couldn't wait for my new bag of dog food to be delivered. The day has come and I excitedly opened the 35lb bag of dog food to pour in... low and behold this container does not even hold 35lbs of dry dog food. I was able to pour about 3/4 of the bag into the container... luckily for me Royal Canine bags ziplock back up. Still disappointed that I couldn't pour it all in there.Four stars because the container moves around easily, is easy to open and close. Minus a star for not holding as much as I was believed to think.

I’m not typically a review writer, but I bought one of these, and when it arrived it was shattered, and with it, my heart. I requested a new one, and THE NEXT DAY my new container was delivered! I was worried I’d just get another broken one, since the first one was just in a box, but the second one had been bubble wrapped. Super impressed that they made sure I got my replacement in good shape! Also, free bubble wrap!As for the container itself, we got it to hold spare cat litter. My biggest concerns were if it would hold up to all the litter and if I’d have to forgo the wheels because we have carpet. This little dude doesn’t care how much he’s holding or how plush the carpet he’s on is. Sides stay sturdy and I, a weakling, can push and pull it across the room to various litter boxes with grace and ease. The lid doesn’t stay open on its own, which is a little annoying, but not a big deal with what I’m using it for. I imagine with time it’ll loosen up a little and might be more independent in that aspect eventually.The only real downside is that it makes the litter staticky, but I can’t imagine too many people are buying storage tubs for their litter (my cat eats cardboard it isn’t my fault) so that’s probably not something the general population needs to fear.

Fits large bags of dog food. Top locks out most dogs, except for a Springer I have who has learned to unlatch it, silly girl also steps on the trash can latch to open that also...Anyway, we found that if you turn the latch side of the bin to towards the wall, she hasn't figured out that the bin is on wheels, and can be moved..

Works great for dog food storage. Keeps everything neat with no bag sitting around.
