I used macrium reflect. It's a great drive for the money **Q: What is the default sector size? Is it 512e or 4K?** A: This does not really apply to SSD's. Sectoring is used for spinning disk drives (HHD's). However, SSD's optimize when moving data in 4k blocks. **Q: Is this a gen 3 or a gen 4 m2 drive? the gen3x4 is confusing to me, what does that mean?** A: It is Gen 3. It communicates via PCIe 3.0 x4. **Q: I'm using with an external enclosure with an imac 27 late 2013, and it turns off the imac all the time, somebody nows the reason ???** A: We do not test or support these in enclosures. Doesn't ship with a screw for mounting, so buy one if you don't have one.I was able to replicate the advertised speeds in diskmark and gaming with it has been great. I am very happy with the price, speeds, and capacity.Just to address this, flash cells performs better when hot and heat increases the lifespan. The controller throttles itself when it gets too hot. I haven't been able to get it hot enough for throttling (benchmarking got it to 60C and gaming is usually around 50C.
