OAW 12-G3200 Electronic Fan Clutch Replacement - Chevrolet/GMC 4.2L, 5.3L, 6.0L Trailblazer SSR, Envoy, Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender, Oldsmobile Bravada (2002-2009)

Went on without a hitch and worked perfect for the 2 days I could drive it before the truck finally broke the next part I said this and the fan clutch were the last 2 items I was buying, and I meant it. Decided to fix the 07 Explorer as the only thing wrong with it was the transmission instead of everything wrong with the Envoy.

This seems like a good product --- only time will tell.

March 4 2024 I purchased and installed this. December 9, 2025 I have a P0495 code so this part has failed in under 2 yrs. That's pretty pitiful!

Purchased this fan clutch after having issues with a more expensive faulty part purchased from a different seller. I was recommended to buy a GM genuine part because the aftermarket parts are not as reliable. Well I bought this as a cheap alternative and so far it has worked well. Instantly solved the issue I had, now to see if it last longer than the more expensive one that gave out after five months. Be weary of who you buy from on Amazon and always double check that the part numbers match the packing slip cause some of the sellers will send you the wrong part and claim they sent you the correct part just to scam you. Don't pay for a genuine GM part and get stuck with a piece of crap BEHR...

I was driving around and suddenly I started hearing a loud 'wooshing' noise. My 2005 Chevy Trailblazer sounded like a bus, like I had a leaf blower under my hood. This loud fan noise whenever I'd rev the engine. After taking a closer look at my fan clutch, I found the problem. This replacement fan clutch fit perfectly. It lined up perfectly with the fan, and threaded easily onto the water pump. The electrical connector even came with a little clip that attaches to the fan shroud. It was easy to install but I did need some special tools. Like a fan clutch holding tool, and a larger than 36mm crescent wrench.

Seems like really good quality compared to Autozones product.
