This cord does not actually charge my Xbox controller. The controller won’t turn on if it is plugged in, I have to unplug, turn it on and plug it back in. It does provide power when the controller is on and plugged in though.

Light on the cord lights up to show it is working, but will not charge an Xbox One controller. Even if you try to plug and play, it loses connection and turns controller off.

Red light died out within the first day of use. Does charge my remote though, so I guess that's the important part.
