Fun and challenging build. Im new to 3D puzzles and this one really made me think and work. Its rated at a 4.5 difficulty and I'd say thats fair. Really enjoyed this.

I simply love everything that rokr makes.

This may be the only review I've done. My problem with reviews is; you don't know who has done them or why, and if the company/person is striving to be the best, wouldn't tips or a heads up suffice? I made this wood kit in about a day. I'm pretty careful with assembling anything. The instructions are pictorial and because of the shading, are fairly easy to follow. I'm absolutely amazed at how detailed the projector is. It even works amazingly well without power to it in the form of batteries or or a wall plug. The cuts are close and precise. Exercise care when removing parts. Sometimes a corner or edge can be manipulated and then twisted slightly to remove cleanly and with no damage. The plywood that this kit was designed around is very smooth, great grain, and didn't have voids. This wasn't made of MDF (medium density fiberboard) or any inferior product. I would highly recommend these by ROKR. Just an amazing device and kit. I hope they come out with more intricate kits like this. Keep up the good work!

Great fun to build but the image quality is next to none.

I got this for my 18 year old son for Christmas. He loved it! He is going to school for film production and this was the perfect gift. It took him about 6 hours but the finished camera was awesome and worked! We were very excited! I highly recommend this!

I received this for my birthday after already receiving a different one of these (the Rokr box) a couple of years earlier and it was entertaining and was easy to build like the last one. If your looking for something that consumes time on a rainy day, this is exactly what your looking for. The instructions are easier to read than Lego instructions, it's easy to build with only popping out the pieces and sanding or applying lubricant if needed, and when you're finished building it, you feel accomplished and have more fun trying it out. Overall I would say that this is a great product and would recommend it for children of older age.

If you like a challenge, if you are good with your hands, and are good at following instructions, this is for you. The product is extremely well made, labelled and laid out. For fragile pieces there are extra included just in case you get clumsy. It truly is like a good book. Once you start it is very hard to stop.

Can't believe I got it together and it works

I found this a bit challenging but not TOO challenging - take your time, don't rush it and it will come out great. I had no problems with pieces fitting together and in the end not only does it look good, IT ACTUALLY WORKS! Very pleased and looking forward to my next project.

I got this as a gift for a friend and if you are into making things, this is the perfect product. Not only was it fun to build, but it was also amazing to see it in action! Its quality is also pretty good and overall this was a great buy either for yourself or as a gift.

Good idea, but it made of layered glued wood, so during the assembly some parts could be broken easily. Not easy to assemble, get ready to spend more than 4 hours. Some details cuts not perpendicular and the gears has an angle.
