I have taken detailed notes of success rates with different hormones and from my personal experiences I have had the best luck with the Clonex gel. I am not sure if that is because it is a superior product, or if it is because it is easier to use (but that is really splitting hairs…). Some plants that are very difficult to clone may require a stronger # rooting powder, but for your average needs I have found Clonex to be very reliable.Some tips: Store your clonex in the refrigerator to extend the life. Also, NEVER dip a cutting directly into the bottle of clonex! Always pour the desired amount of clonex into a separate clean container to work out of. If you dip straight into the container, you’ll come back in a few weeks and find that your expensive rooting gel has changed colors and gone funky… (I made that mistake a few years ago).I hope this helps your purchasing decision. I’ll try and reply in a timely manner! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And if refrigerated I can attest to a bottle staying good for over a year *by S***S on July 16, 2017* Using clonex i can get 100% success 99.9% of the time. If you sterilize your equipment and clone properly this gel is very much worth the money. Sterilize a shot glass, pour in a little clonex, let it get to room temp, refrigerate the rest. I can get 2-300 clones w 1 bottle. And if refrigerated I can attest to a bottle staying good for over a year. Good good stuffEdit April 2018: same bottle, still going strongEdit august 2018: same bottle for over a year. Keep in mind, i only use about 2-3ml at a time in a shot glass and use that for only a handfull of clones. The bottle is still half full and the gel is still thick. I have no doubt itll last another year.
