Q: What are the dimensions of this?

I'm not sure the exact measurements. I carry it in my hand with the index finger on the tip that I would use to spray. It's very light and very comfortable. I'm going to order 10 of these. Has a key chain that you could have on a key chain or carry with you. All you do is slip it on the index finger and it's with you. I take it anywhere I go. Walks grocery shopping.

Q: Can this be used on a dog (a dog attack)?

This is a gel. Sprays are better for use on animals. You'd have to get a perfect shot in the eye or nose for this to be effective. With a spray, it will enter the eyes & nose easier.
