Riccia Fluitans Crystalwort Tissue Culture Freshwater Live Aquarium Plants Java Moss

The crystalwort looked okay when I first got it, but it was in about 6 small pieces in a cup, when I would have preferred to have 1 big piece. There was some gel substance on the bottom of the plant, and I had trouble getting all of it off of the plant, because when I scrubbed the bottom of the plant too much, the plant fell apart. A few days after I put the crystalwort in my aquarium, I noticed a bad smell coming from the crystalwort, and the pieces were falling apart. I gradually removed the pieces that smelled bad or were falling apart, and after about 2 weeks I had thrown away all of it.

You ought to transplant this immediately. It seems to perish soon in its gel - instructions how to prevent this would be great. We kept it with other plant tissue samples and callus cultures this time - still died. The aliquots are still alive though.

It seemed to arrive in good condition, but most of it died shortly thereafter. Only a few strands surrvived. I'm sure it was user error... instructions on how to care for it would have been nice. I did my own research and follow online instructions, but 95% still died.

I can not believe that high price that I paid for was a bunch of rotting, moldy, cooked up moss in package that was shipped with standard mail and was leaking by the time I received it.

The product arrived on time and in great condition! I have a low tech tank (just lights and fertilizer) and this plant has grown well.

Product came in already half dead and melting. The java fern and hair grass was fine. Just don’t believe this type of plant can be safely shipped with survival in the heat.
