I have built several star ceiling/panels for home use over the years and have tried several generator brands and models. I believe this brand and model works great so far. Price point is competitive, can't speak yet to durability but it's been in use 24/7 for almost 2 months now without any problems. I do have to say that bluetooth control using the phone app is not always that stable. Sometimes the connection will not work until I shut down power and switch it back on. The separate remote control does work fine. Perhaps it is specific to my phone model, perhaps something else but I can work around that small inconvenience. I have multiple star generators from this brand and all have similar intermittent connection issues. Not a deal breaker though. The twinkling wheel makes a bit of a grinding noise (they all do) so I have to turn it off at night because I installed it in the bedroom. I also wish that the separate remote would allow more steps in dimming the light. As it is, the lowest setting is still too bright when it is dark in the room so I had to use some cheap neutral density sheets and placed that between the LED source and fiber optic connector which solved my problem. I think the remote only allows 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% whereas the phone app can dim with any value from 0% to 100%. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this star generator. I mostly use the true white light option which looks most natural and mimics the starry night sky the best. Attached are a few shots of my project, a milkyway star panel that I installed against the wall with shooting star. For this project I'm actually using a fixed 450 star generator without twinkle effect to show static stars and in addition I have this 1000 star generator with twinkle effect and then the third generator for the shooting star effect. It all looks better in real life but the pictures should give you an idea. I can recommend this star generator! 08/29/2023 UPDATE: =================== The star ceiling project has been running 24/7 and still going strong with no issues. I was able to reduce the *grinding* sound from the twinkle wheel by wrapping it in a sheet of rubber which helps reduce vibrations. Now it can run all night without being bothered by grinding sounds. I'm starting a new starceiling project this month, this next one will be a spiral galaxy with a total of close to 2000 stars 🌟

Purchased this a couple of months ago from Ireland as i could not get anything similar over here. Shipping was really quick, less that 7 days to Ireland from the US, can't beat that! The product itself is great - I got a local business to fit and they said it was very easy to work with and thought it was a great piece of kit. I can't even describe how cool it looks in my X5, everyone loves it! I got the twinkle version and I would generally leave it on this setting all the time, but there are lots of other function on it too. I'm actually sorry now that I didn't buy the meteor version but will definitely get it when I purchase a new vehicle later this year. All in all, great product, and i would highly recommend it to anyone! **Edit - Have just bought a second one for my new car. Had the other one for around 9 months and it was amazing, people loved it! Especially nice during the winter months when it's dark for most of the day, really adds to the atmosphere in the car. Still love it and would still highly recommend it!

So far so good. Made a star ceiling for my theater room. Difficult to handle all the strands. Kinked some so I had to cut them short. They also tangled up, so be mindful when you start to thread them through.

Product was as described. Worked great in attic ceiling. Drilling all the holes for fiber optics was time consuming but well worth the effort. Client was amazed with the result. Changes colors and twinkling option provides unlimited effects. Remote control operates unit through the drywall ceiling. We did a 14ft x14ft area and had left over fiber optics. Great product for the price.

Fantastic product! I use it for my car and drive several hours a day, its absolutely beautiful to look at. All of the functions work perfectly. My ONLY concern is the heat, the box gets very hot after a few hours of it being on. Im not sure if its just my unit or if there is supposed to be a built in fan or something. Other than that, this is an outstanding product.

Install was absolutely frustrating and tedious and I really cannot see the point in spending the time and money to doing this unless the public will enjoy it. A fine martini bar, restaurant or ride share vehicle make it seem worth the effort. I was bored of it after a week personally and really couldn't recommend anybody but and do this unless others will enjoy. The kit is highly intuitive and the app as well.

The starlight kit came in about 3-4 weeks ago, im getting around too it just this past week after spending 2-3 hours pulling down my headliner and getting sections grouped up for the total of 1110 stars about 500 or so of the fibers actually worked, the box itself where the screws hold it down, they didnt come with treads, so i had too gorilla glue it into its spot. Nevermind the box has an antenna and the remote you have too point too the back of the truxk and press 3/4 times too get it too change.

Great product, great communicate. There was a small issue with the app not able to run 2 separate device on one app. They got with their tech team and fix the app. Not only that, you can order everything separately if need be. I will only use the these guys when it comes to start light kits. I highly recommend Great product. Currently installing 2000 pc Communication was great. Even had his team fix the app. Now it's allowed to control 2 units separately on the app. Thanks
