Larger Size Is Much Appreciated
I purchased these turbans to replace a standard 25x65cm microfibre one. These are 30x71cm and while I don’t have particularly long hair I was looking for something that would better cover my thicker, wavy, shoulder length hair. The size is great - gathers up all my locks and easily twists and fastens without me having to stretch the fabric. The inside of the turban is thicker - more like terry towelling which I actually prefer. The outside of the turban is the shorter, microfibre finish. Don’t be put off by this, it wicks moisture incredibly well. The material is very wet when I remove it after use and I have found I need to take it off sooner or my hair isn’t damp enough to style my curls. For those folks who complained about it not being microfibre on the inside there is a solution; although not reversible as such, the turban can be used inside out and will still fasten. I tried it. The button is nice and substantial and while at first I was disappointed that the loop was material and not elastic I am now a convert - it takes a bit more effort but there is no more stretched and worn out elastic. If you are looking for a larger, good quality turban at a reasonable price then I don’t think you will be disappointed. Very satisfied customer.

Use all the time
Love these. What a brilliant idea and beats wrapping a towel around your head. Gave 2 to my granddaughter who has long hair and she is able to get all of her hair in.

Helps cut down blow dry time.
This towel is very absorbent but it will not dry your hair completely as let’s face it, the towel will remain wet until removed and dried. It does however absorb more than a regular towel so blow dry time is shorter which can only be good for my hair. My hair seems to be smoother once dry so it seems to cut down on frizz and static. I have long fine hair but lots of it and this definitely helps save time. The button keeps the turban secure unlike an ordinary towel which would often unravel, so you can wander about freely with the turban on without it falling off.

Very good for long thick hair
I purchased this product because i dye my hair bright red and every time i wash my hair the dye runs and stains anything and everything (including my towel). Once i finish washing my hair i tie it up in this towel and it absorbs all the moisture. It doesn't leak down to the towel on my body at all (saving all my towels). Its super absorbent, thick enough and long enough for anyone with long, thick hair. Its also, i believe, a better way to dry your hair even if its not dyed. I understand that it is a more gentle way to dry hair (than towel drying or hair drying). I have recommended it to all my friends and family and know a few people who have taken my recommendation and purchased it themselves and are very happy.

The only hair turban that works for me
Ditto. Quite fluffy. Other turbans have shorter pile length and don't feel as nice.

These head towels are big soft and very absorbing!
Absolutely fantastic! Lovely and soft! The way it absorbed all the wetness from my hair was amazing! Obviously my hair was not bone dry but it was a lot dryer than usual! They are massive too which is amazing for my hair as I have long really thick hair so really good! Would reccomend 100% even tempted to buy some more at some point Haha! Thank you very much xx

too much excess material
These may be OK if you have a lot of hair or a particularly large head! There was so much excess material to twist around before being able to secure the button. I bought this after using a similar product at my daughters, but hers fitted much better, were quicker to pop on and secure. The button on hers was chunkier so felt more secure and the material.was softer and thicket. The material on these is flat and doesn't feel very absorbent. They do.the job but I wish I'd ordered the same ones she has as I'm sure she got a pack of 2 from here.

My mom introduced me to Turbie-Twist hair towels when I was a teenager, and I doubt I’ve used a regular towel in the past 25 years on my hair. Not only is it great to wash my hair first and then put it up to dry while I wash my body (conditioner can cause back acne) but it cuts down on a lot of laundry not having massive towels strictly used on hair. I’ve bought the same name-brand from different vendors over the years, and quality of their product and material varies greatly depending on the purchase source. Some were thin terry that barely absorbed anything and more just kept my hair up and away, others were thick microfiber that every piece of hair and lint stuck to and never really dried my hair as it just sucked up the water and held it there. The plush terry ones were the best for being stuck, soft, and actually drying, but actually finding those was tricky. Years ago when I was dying my hair deep auburn, I invested in a half dozen black microfiber ones and they’ve done their utilitarian duty for awhile, but the elastic that holds the towel end was starting to go, and I’ve also lost a number over the years when I’ve traveled and stayed in hotels or family’s homes. They’re not only a home staple, they’re a travel staple. Recently I had purchased a Polyte bath mat towel, and was super happy with the quality and type of terry material it was made out of. It was super thick and quick to dry, so I had been eying trading my soft but non-absorbent bamboo towels for this brand. Not ready to pull the trigger on restocking my entire linen closet, and still in need of some new hair towels, I went ahead and purchased these despite being iffy that these looked a bit plain and featureless. A button tab to secure the end with the loop isn’t exactly adjustable, and button threads are notoriously sewn in weakly. At first I was surprised that they seemed a bit thin. They are super soft, but I imagined they’d just get saturated and not really absorb to dry hair. I have fine and silky wavy hair, and LOTS of it, and it takes forever to dry. It’s been the frustration of many a stylist when it takes then 45 minutes to blow dry my hair, and I still leave damp. Same with hair dye: my hair literally just sucks up product like a sham-wow. Generally I will even double towel dry my hair, using one for the initial soak up, and then another to get more once that towel has done all it can possibly do. Imagine my surprise that these actually do a really terrific job! The perfect fabric blend and texture to absorb the moisture from my hair, and continue to wick it out to keep drying instead of just holding it. Also, the BIG deal, is the size! I have a giant Irish head: hats and wigs don’t like me. This towel width has ample room to completely cover my head, AND the length to hold my waist length thick hair. The other name brand always fell just short when my hair fell past bra-length, and I’d have to fold my ends back up into the towel. I can actually lay my entire length of hair out like it should with the Polyte hair towels. Security wise, the loop and button are okay, you just have to twist up the towel a bit more to get it to hold properly, and even then it’s a bit more loose than I’d prefer, but it does the job. Because I only wash my hair once or twice a week, I also depend on my hair towels to be a shower cap of sorts when I do a shower-only run. The other day I put a towel over my dry hair, and it did unravel mid-shower because I don’t put it on as tightly over dry hair. Overall: Recommend and would purchase again!
