But why wasn't it made more clear on the desertcart listing. What a cheap way to collect a few bucks without providing and services. I ended up purchasing Apple's Logic Pro X. I understand that Avid has been reducing it's staff having fired whole departments that were programing Pro Tools. Cheap laptops wont run it very well at all. i7 reccomended maybe an i5. Fortunately, you can now use any audio interface with Pro Tools 12. That said, I'm glad I got this with a student discount. I wouldn't use this for song composition or MIDI work- it simply doesn't come with enough software instruments.
