We needed a hefty car phone holder for our new Samsung A14 5G phones. These phones are pretty big and heavy. We had no problems fitting this phone to the holder. The holder had plenty of width. As far as length make sure to pull out the bottom all the way for the big phones as it will make it seem the holder, lengthwise, is not so out of balance. First, we tested the phone holder in our car using the vent clip. While the clip held the phone very securely, this particular model of phone is heavy, and the phone was bobbing up and down quite vigorously and led me to believe that eventually the vent louvers would break, especially in an older car. Over the long term this may have not been true but the bobbing up and down was a little unnerving so we decided to instead install on a flat part of the dash using the puck, and positioned the holder and the phone so that the bottom part of the holder was slightly resting on the dash to prevent the bobbing up and down issue. A smaller, lighter phone would probably not need to do this, or you may be able to get away with the vent clip which is easy to use, but does block your vent. We installed the puck according to instructions and have been using it. No problems with the holder coming off the puck, or even pretending to detach. We love that the phone is also easy to get off the holder with the press of a small button under the holder arm on the left side. We have not had issues finding this button when taking the phone out either. This is a higher priced phone holder but if it does what it is supposed to do every day, it is worth the money. We also bought one to install in our truck and we did the puck install again on the dash. Recently we took a multi-day trip and the holder performed flawlessly. We hope the holder will continue to hold up over the long term but does appear to be well made.

The Best magnetic car mount i have tested by far. I have a Galaxy s20 Ultra and this thing actually holds it super strong like glue, I couldnt believe it considering the weight of my phone but it works superbly. The trick is to have a thin case for the back of the phone with good bumpers for sides and camera.(Will not work on thick cases)..I also tried a case that comes with a preinstalled Ring/plate on back, that WILL NOT WORK with this phone due to the fact that the ring is raised and slippery. USE THE PLATES included. If you do have a thick case then the only other Solution would be to try to put the plate on the outside of the case(i have not tried this but should work). As for the adjustable clip to mount it on the vent, it is super practical. If you look at the picture the manufacturer provides there is like a plastic flap right above the adjustable clip. Make sure you position that flap to lean on something like the thing you hold to position the vent to go left or right(horizontal vent). I positioned mine right above it so it puts its weight on the clip used to move the vent. This will help the clip from any movement and keep it super sturdy(I included a picture to show this). The only questionable thing right now will be durability..That can be only judged with time, but i believe in my case since i dont plan on moving it much so it should last a while. Another thing to note is that when placing the phone and removing the phone, make sure you remove it from left to right or right to left..Do not remove it from top to down or bottom to top because there is movement that will occur as the mount has wiggle room to adjust the position. if you remove from the sides there is no movement and comes off with no effort. I got this as a holder for my wife’s standard sized iPhone, and as an alternate one for my iPhone Pro Max; it easy to use and install, but it does have an issue holding the larger size and weight of the iPhone Pro Max size, especially with the protective case on it. Without the case, it does keep it in place fairly well, but it can get jarred loose and fall off on occasion if you hit a bump or pot hole during your journey. Otherwise, it’s a great product that keeps your iPhone handy and is quite useful to have when using the mapping Apps on you smartphone. That being said, my wife liked it a lot for her standard size iPhone, as it kept it handy but out of the way while she was driving. A friend of mine even bought one for himself, and he loves it as well!

I really love the simple and small but strong magnetic phone mount that vicseed offers. By far has been my favorite phone mount that i have used. The mount itself holds well in the vents and offers a very strong magnetic hold onto your phone. I have a galaxy s20+ (large phone) and it is able to hold it up no problem. I also really love the easy rotation feature allowing you to rotate the phone while being held by the mount with ease. I did have the bearing get very loose in the rotation feature which stopped the mount from working to its potential and made the mount frustrating to use, but i was able to receive some wonderful customer service from vicseed and they sent me a new mount free of charge and covered the cost of shipping. They also replaced a previous mount that i had lost as well just as a bonus of how awesome they are. Overall I have had a wonderful experience with vicseed and would highly recommend purchasing their mounts and you have the comfort of knowing if anything is unsatisfying with your purchase you do have easy access to their very helpful customer service who go above and beyond for you.

EXCELLENT QUALITY

I prefer this type of phone holder, which uses a magnet to hold your phone. It is very easy to place and remove your phone and the magnets have no adverse effect. I also prefer the type that offers the ability to adjust to angle the phone is held at - which this one does with a ball and socket joint. The joint also means it stands well proud of the air vent itself, which again I prefer. Previous ones of a similar style have lasted for over a year but eventually the ball and socket joint failed, so only time will tell on this make. However, it appears well made; being stiff enough to hold it in place at the desired angle but easy enough to adjust. This holder has rubber grippers for the vent, which seem better that the plastic ones I on my old holder. It grips better and seems less prone to falling out of the vent - which my old one did from time to time - although again, only time will tell. Overall then I’m very pleased with this Vicseed phone holder and would recommend it.

Perfect magnet for little air vents and it holds very well. No complaints at all. Don’t think twice to Buy it

This mount is nice and sturdy, and the black finish is really smart. The ball that the magnet pivots on is nice and tight, so your phone won't slip around or drop down if it's quite heavy. It comes with TWO metal pieces to stick onto you devices too, which I thought was a nice touch.

It's solid and sturdy I like the rubber inserts as it doesn't damage your vents. So easy to assemble. Bought one for a friend also
