Amazing product! My wife who is a person of color uses this on her hair to help her hair maintain her natural hair and maintain her curls rather than her hair being a fizzy fro. I am vanilla and have some wavy kinda curly hair that is going grey. My grey hair is unruly. I got the idea to try this on my hair and to my surprise, it tamed my hair and created curls in my hair without making it look like it was oily or dirty. I would say it is for all ethnicities with some curly hair. Fantastic product that smells amazing!

Ok, so I didn’t like this at first. I couldn’t figure out how to use it. Now I wet my hair and put this in until my hair is white. It doesn’t “blend in” to my hair. But as my hair dries, the product dries as well, and my hair is no longer white. It leaves lovely, defined curls. I am biracial and I have a mix between 3a and 3b hair. This product keeps the frizz away and really controls the curls. I haven’t had any issues with frizz or shrinkage, or too much volume. When I don’t use product, my hair moves into a puffy mess. It’s about 3/4 of the way down my back, and is naturally poofy when I have the curls brushed out (0/10, do not recommend!). So being able to just wet my hair and have my curls actually defined is amazing. The hold lasts all day. Really, I could just shake my hair when I take it out of the bonnet in the morning, and just go straight to whatever I am doing. But I am a little OCD with my routines, so I have to renew my curls. I also like that this is cheaper than the other brand I was using, and also gives my hair a nice shine. It still offers movement, and isn’t crunchy unless it’s time to wash my hair, or I use wayyyy too much product.

I have to say that this is one of the best curl creams I have ever used. I had tried another product of this brand Creme of Nature by a friends recommendation and I really liked it (the gel from the flaxeed line). I saw this one here on amazon for only $5 and with great reviews and decided to try as well and I am so glad I did. I have 2c-3a hair and I am still not done with my transition so there are areas that don't define as well. My hair also is dry and it has medium porosity so I have invested a lot of money on creams and products way more expensive that do not give me the results this curl activator gives. First it is very concentrated so you only use a little bit and I have very long hair so this tube will last me for a while. It does not leaves residue, it crontrols frizz very well. I live in Miami and humidity here is crazy and it holds the shape of my curls all day and the day after I only have to do minimal revitalization. It leaves your hair shiny and super soft. It became an instant favorite.

Best to use it right after the shower when your hair is clean. It’s a squirt bottle so it’s easy to use. The size is good for the price. Makes my hair super soft for a couple days. The Cons are oiliness and sometimes when I brush small particles come off on the brush and my clothes. But not a big deal for me.

I love how nice and thick this is. You do not need a lot for curl definition. I mix this in my palm with gel and smooth from root to ends on wet hair. My curls are popping all day! It smells great, is flake free and non greasy

I wanted a short and curly afro-like style to wear with a headband. this product is so great for that! After i applied it as instructed, my hair felt so nice and the moisture was crazy good! It felt like I just sprayed it down with some type of long lasting lotion. It was so soft and nice. I wasn't sure if I could get my curls back after straightening it so many times but it works like a charm, no problem! Definitely get this if you want a cute curly style. Some things to point out: There will be shrinkage because the hair is curling up, so don't be surprised at the shortness. Also, don't try to straighten it or flat iron the hair while the product is in it. you'll need to wash it out and dry it before trying to straighten it again. Trust me, I Learned this the hard way, haha. Overall, I recommend it!

The product does smell really good, and it did define my hair a bit. However, it did cause buildup.

This is the only product I use in my hair now. I do praying hands after I rake it in and then scrunch and I just let my hair air dry. It is amazing. This is the holy grail for curly hair. It also leaves a little bit of a cast when it dries that you can easily scrunch out and it will leave you with the softest and bounciest curls without any flaking. Smells amazing too and it lasts a few months because the size of the bottle is big and I only use a quarter-size amount. I also bought a bottle for my mother.
