I'm having a ball with this thing
I purchased this fitness ball so I would have something comparable on which to play with my son when he was on his hop-a-long. Champion Sports Hop-Along Pon Pon Ball (25 1/2-Inch Diameter) Now my kid is pretty fast, so I thought I'd give myself an edge by filling my fitness ball with pure hydrogen, since it's lighter than our atmosphere. The only problem is that this exercise ball doesn't have a handle, so I fashioned a nylon rope harness of sorts that fit around the sphere and provided a handle for me to grasp. This work wonderfully for about 2 weeks. The greater size of my ball, combined with it's lightness, allow me to easily catch up to my son. Soon enough I was much faster than him, and decided that it would be alright to fill his ball with hydrogen as well. I felt that I'd grown in my own hopping prowess sufficiently so that I could catch him if he was hopping towards a dangerous area, like the neighbors yard, the stairs to the basement, or the street. Little did I know that the true danger was right between my legs. Now I consider myself to be a bit of an amateur scientist, which is why I thought to fill the balls with hydrogen with in the first place. It's also why it's so embarrassing that I never thought to consider the effect that the forces of friction would have on the ball. The problem became evident one Sunday afternoon when we'd been hopping for about an hour. I had become distracted by what appeared to be a sentient begonia plant growing in my flower garden, and when I looked up I saw that my son, Jeremiah, was bouncing right towards the street. I immediately set off at top speed, shouting as I bounced rapidly to catch him. I made it halfway down the driveway when the rope harness, super-heated from friction, the day's weather and an hour of bouncing, melted through the ball's anti-burst exterior. The hydrogen ignited immediately, causing the ball to explode in a flash of combusting gas, propelling me in my original direction of travel down the drive-way at enormous speed. The exercise shorts I had been wearing were blown clean off, and the flash flame removed all my body hair below the armpits. Jeremiah was almost as surprised as me, and stopped bouncing towards the street to witness my half naked, flaming crash landing onto the bottom half of the driveway. As I tried to regain my wits, I slowly rose to my feet to see Jeremiah bouncing out in the street. Bewildered and terrified, I set out to catch him on foot, as he wouldn't come back despite my repeated shouts for him to stop, and my warnings that our toys were actually very dangerous. While it was the explosion that triggered the police response, that was left entirely out of the police blotter the following day, which simply read that the police apprehended a pantless, hairless man chasing a small child down the street while screaming at him to beware of his exploding balls.

may need more than just 24 hours
I received the 65CM ball a little over a week ago. came with the pump and 2 plugs. I blew it up to what I thought was 80% of it's size since it was getting hard to blow more air in and I left it for 24 hours then blew it up again but I still had trouble getting air in it. I sat on it but found it was too small. So I checked the diameter and it was only 47CM. I was upset because I thought I had the same problem as other people about getting the wrong sized ball, maybe the sent me the 55CM. I am 4'11 and am actually supposed to have the 55CM ball but I was planning on using it to replace my desk chair.I sent an email to the company which have yet to respond. I kept using the ball anyway which seemed to be losing air so I kept blowing it up. A few days ago I checked the diameter again and saw it was at 54 and I blew it up again today and now it is at 58. So I think it will be a 65CM ball soon enough I just have to give it time. The only problems I have:1. The pump that they sent with it is trash, every time I pushed it down air escaped through the holes on the top at a fast rate. My husband tried fixing it and it worked for a couple pumps until I heard a rattling and air escaping again so I gave up on it and since I have no other pump I had to blow it up manually.2. The company has yet to respond to my email. I sent it almost a week ago and still nothing.3. because of the "leave for 24 hours before inflating to full size" directions I thought they may have given me the wrong ball. they need to change that.Other than that I am quite happy. so give it more time before taking action, it sucks but it is better than dealing with their customer support... and faster.EDIT July 5th 2012: it's a bit late but after finding out it could still be blown up more it took less than a week to blow it up to 65CM and it is working great! the company has yet to respond, i don't have a problem anymore but they don't know that so the service sucks so if you think the ball is the wrong size i still say try waiting before complaining, the ball may just need more time to stretch.2ND EDIT October 1, 2012: It is still going strong, no problems and it is a very good height for my computer area.

exercising with it 4-5 times a week for the past 3 months still works great!
i've been exercising with the 65cm 4-5 times a week for the past 3 months and it still retained 97% of its air. Fantastic price for what you get =)

Never even got to use it
That's right. I never even got to use this fitness ball as it burst whilst inflating it. I was using a hand pump and at approximately 69cm the ball just burst. I'm just thankful that it burst whilst inflating it rather than using it, as it could have caused me an injury.

Fantastic! Big Lad!
I'm a big lump of a lad! I weigh in the region of 100kg/200 pounds + (Fat and muscle i'll have you know). I have had the ball for a few months and it is great. There seems to be no bursting it! Not that i've been going mental but me plus 40 kg/80 pounds of dumbbells = no problem. Me plus my cousin (he's 8) balancing = no problem. Me plus arseing around, falling off, balancing, trying to stand up etc = no problem. I've also seen demos on youtube of 1000+ pounds of weight being applied = no problem + sticking in a pin = slow and steady deflation = not eating your dumbbells if it does burst! If like me you were considering sub £10 ball, I wouldn't bother. If it bursts you're out money and potentially injured. If this review is still 5 star, then it is still great!!!

Great Purchase!
I am very happy with this ball, which I bought for seating at my job. I was concerned about the size, as my height is on the cusp between the small and the medium. Glad I chose the 65 cm, even though I am just 5'4". Perfect desk height. It's a nice sturdy ball , and good looking.

Exactly what you see, REALLY FAST shipping!!!
I love this product, is very durable and does exactly what i want if not more (i have abused it). The 75cm I must admit looks huge when i do exercises in my living room (and I am also tall 5'11''). However, this was the size I was used to exercise at my bootcamp and the space there was more open, which didnt make the ball seem as large as i see it in my living room. It is definitely for taller people (when you sit on it your legs shouldnt be on the air!!!) but you can find the right dimensions online. What i also love is that it came with a big poster-size almost exercise chart (which is very helpful) and it even explains the dimensions you should buy depending on your height. Love it!
