I've bought two of these and they make my girls feel like a princess

While this dress is beautiful overall it has it's flaws. The applique is not attached correctly. It looks like it was done in a beginners sewing class gone so wrong. It is basically machine stitched across the top and a little on the sides and everything just hangs loose. I fixed what I could but am scared to take the machine stitches out because it may leave needle marks. There was also a large amount of netting that should have been cut away left around the applique. I had to trim a lot off before I could even attach it properly. It had snags in the excess netting. It was just not good. Especially for a little girls first pageant. Luckly by the time she got home from school I had it mostly fixed and she was very happy with the way it looked on her. This particular little girl is tall and slender for an 8 year old so I ordered the size 10 and it is still tee-length. It doesn't need to be listed as a ball gown. Ball Gowns reach the floor!!!! She is only wearing 1" heels so I know that was not the issue. It literally comes above her ankles. If this was a big pageant I would be super upset but thankfully it is a fun pageant not formal. But she is proud of it and loves the way she feels in it. So what more can you ask for.

If I could give this no star. I would. Needed this dress for my daughter’s costume for the renaissance fair we’re going to tomorrow and just opened and it’s ripped or was never fully sewn together on the left sleeve. So disappointed as we leave in the morning and do not have time to order another one. My daughter was heartbroken.

I bought this for my daughter’s Father/Daughter dance and she was the belle of the ball. True-to-size and amazing fit. She was comfortable and said it was soft on her skin. Easy to clean. I machine washed it and let it air dry and it kept its shape. No fraying or tearing. Very age-appropriate and glamorous. Would highly recommend.

While I wouldn't rule this dress out and say never buy. I will say the photo they supply is definitely deceiving. First you will notice while their photo shows off the shoulder, it has extra supportive straps, which I actually find to be a positive thing and preference. The part that got me was the lace design. Half this lace literally hangs on the bottom half, and is not supported onto the dress, which we all know what happens with childrens inability to baby delicate materials. I also thought they were sloppy in adding the design. They could have done a tighter cut on the design, and at the very least lightly pin thread it into place. As you can see in my photos the dress is a beautiful design. And its flaws can be dismissed and used on the spot. If your at all apprehensive, you can easily reinforce your concerned areas and fix the dress to your standards. But if these flaws bug you, you should know of them prior to purchasing. These would bug be alot if it was one of my girls pageants dresses. But my daughter picked this for her father daughter dance, so it's not as crucial for this event. It should be pointed out that the cost is not over the top, and is actually for the price decent. I just find the photo used to be of higher quality, and when we are shopping online, its crucial to be honest about your product, simply cause if I am shopping your higher quality then we should recieve what we are shown. And if higher quality isn't necessary we should be able to make that judgment then be surprised. Especially, if things are arrive shortly before an event. Would I buy it again? Absolutely depending on the event, but had this showed up for a different event, that I need the dress in the photo, I would have been very upset. Which really is why rated a 3. If my photos where shown and I knew precisely what I was buying and still chose to order, I would have rated higher.

True to size i bought to for my gurls to be flower gurls at my wedding they looked so cute in them worth the buy for any event
