A little different than OEM, but fits on OEM brake booster. - 2008 Impala LT
I original bought this check valve kit to remedy a suspected vacuum leak in the brake booster area of my 2008 Impala LT. I was noticing an audible hissing noise when pressing the brake as well as noticeably reduced braking power. That being said, this item did not fix my issue but it's worth checking out before other parts since it's very affordable. The fix for my vacuum leak came from the plastic/rubber seal within the brake booster itself which is not a part you can purchase by itself. You have to purchase an entire new brake booster or pull the part from a brake booster on a similar model year Impala from an auto salvage yard. This item is slightly bigger than the OEM check valve and a different color (slightly off white/grey). See pictures for packaging and side-by-side comparison of OEM vs this AC Delco check valve. I've attached bonus pics of the original brake booster seal that failed and caused the brake booster to malfunction and the intact one I pulled from a salvaged Impala. Hope this helps!

Perfect fit - 2005 silverado 1500 ext. Cab
The check valve looks to be slightly bigger, but it fit right in. The seal at the brake booster was torn/leaky so I got this kit. Everything is back to normal. The old check valve is still good so it'll be a spare. If possible, I always go with OEM parts.

I just sent it back . I thought the new power booster I bought would not have a check valve, but it came with one. It would have fit great. The price was good. Thanks Amazon.
