Super fire starter
WOW. The coals heat up in half the time. Extra large canister and made of a quality Stainless material. At first I thought that it seemed like a lot of money for a fire starter but this is extremely well made and expect it to last for years. Very nice product

Product does not last
This chimney is good in theory but functionality and materials are terrible. It was fine the first 2 times I used it, after that it began to rust and the bottom plate that flips down when you release the charcoal began to fail. It's not meant to take high heat, any protective coatings that are on the metal are gone within the first few uses. I would not recommend. For reference, I got this to replace a Weber chimney that lasted almost 20 years

Good Bang for the Buck
Well made and operates as it should. So nice not to have to turn basket upside down to empty.

Way better than dumping charcoal from the top.
Love this way better than the other one I had. Old one, you had to basically turn over to dump the charcoals out, and sometimes you get the fly away amber as you're dumping it out. That's ok for the bigger grills, but it was a little to tight when I was putting it in the smoker side(I have an offset smoker). This one is so much easier. Once you're ready, just put it over the spot you want to dump the charcoal and pull the handle, and out comes the charcoal. No need to tip it over. Should have bought this a long time ago :). If you have a combo grill(has gas as well and a burner), this fits over the side burner perfectly and you can use that to start the charcoal instead of wadding papers up to start it.

Not stainless steel.
This is not made of stainless steel so description is wrong it will rust after time so just know what you are getting ๐

This starter is a little bigger than most which is great. Seems to be well built and the flip base makes it easier to dump hot coals. Hopefuls the mechanism lasts but even if not it will still function as all other starters do so itโs not a huge issue.
