This review is for Joseph Studio Renaissance The Immaculate Heart of Mary Religious Figurine 46474. I make special mention of this fact because other reviews of this item seem to be confused as to the actual dimensions of this statue. This is the 4 inch version, which is clearly indicated in the description. The same studio produces this same statue in many other sizes as well, so read the descriptions carefully and note that Amazon has a bad habit of combining reviews of similar items together, whether they belong or not. Joseph Studio makes this statue in four, six, ten inch sizes and more. Personally I wanted the tiny four inch one because that's what I have room for and it isn't easy to find little statues of good sculpt quality in this size. The quality is exceptional and the craftmanship is exquisite. Even on a small stature like this they managed to get the details very well defined and painted with subtle highlights. I'm absolutely stunned by this amazing piece of art and I recommend it to anyone who would like a holy reminder of our Blessed Mother. This statue captures her gracefulness, humility and gentleness. It's simply beautiful and would make a great gift in any size, but I'm keeping mine for myself!

A beautiful piece however it was much smaller then advertised to be. I ordered a Jesus statue and it was advertised as the same size as the Mary statue. As you can see from the picture I provided that was definitely not true. The Jesus statue was true to size however the Mary statue was not. It’s a beautiful statue however I was absolutely disappointed with the size.

Sent it back. Size was a miniature for a doll house.

This is an extremely tiny statue. Even if you read the measurements, it’s still hard to tell how very tiny this statue is in every way.

Actually, it depends on your purpose. This Mary statuette is very tiny. Perhaps the listed spec were in cm’s as opposed to inches. I was very disappointed.
