EZY DOSE Pill Crusher with Storage

This is by far the best pill crusher I have used and I have tried several different styles. It is easy on the hands and doesn’t take a lot of strength to make it work. I just bought my second one in another color so I have a backup. Will be throwing away the other 2 I have currently.

I bought this to crush medication for my dog. She will not take pills, so we crush the pills and put them in wet dog food. It works fantastic. Easy to use, doesn't take a lot of hand strength. I have seen mention of it leaving chunks, but I find if you slightly unscrew and then retighten it a couple of times that gets rid of the chunks and you do get a fine powder. Very pleased with this product, especially for the price!

We grind pills for our dogs and mix them in their noms. We had a grinder just like this one and it has lasted for years with daily use but finally gave it up. After reading the feedback, I was hesitant to buy it again and ended up with three other duds. When we got this one, it is a tiny bit different...the teeth don't meet together completely....but it still grinds exactly as before. There are a few tiny chunks but most of the pills are powdered. Also, we like that it doesn't need to be turned several times to screw it on & off. If you want 100% powder, then get an electric grinder. This one does the job just fine for us...and it can handle large pills. The grinders with the smooth mechanism can't handle large pills at all.

You can’t crush your pills. It only cracks them. I hate this product. I was so happy when I saw it because I have purchased a product that looks the same, but does actually crush pills. I feel like the pulled a hateful prank on me.

I am unable to find any small crushers in my area as they have discontinued many of them. It didn't take long after buying them for them to crack and they were of no use to me.

Having experience with numerous brands and models of pill crushers, I can confidently say this one stands out as the best. It's particularly crucial for my daughter, who receives medication through her G-tube. Our previous crusher, as pointed out by her nurse, was ineffective and prone to breaking. This was the only pill crusher I could find that also did grinding, which I need because I need to medicate three cats who apparently have no issue eating random plastic but suddenly become food critics when there's a piece of a pill bigger than a grain of sand.Like most others have said, this is designed so it does not fully meet, thus really defeating the point of the grinding aspect. But because I wasn't able to find anything remotely similar that did what I needed it to do, and I noticed there was a good deal of extra lip on the clear plastic part, before the screw, I just put it flat on some regular sandpaper and ground it down. Didn't take me near as long as I expected and works like I want it to now. Obviously, you're gonna wanna wash it out after, to get all the loose plastic out, and in truth the grinding components are also plastic so I try not to press down too hard and end up with pieces of those in there too, but for what I need (a single pill down to a powder) it does the job. Works better than a mortar and pestle, a spoon, or any of the other various methods I've tried, once modified. Still retains the powder a little more than I'd like, obviously would prefer not to have to modify it, and to know that the actual grinder part was made of a sturdier material, but if you just absolutely need something to work, this is the only way I've found.
