Classic Toddler Boy Formal Suit in Black 2T-20-Black-20

This is an adorable suit that is priced really well. The pants fit well & the jacket was slightly big, but it didn't bother us as we expected him to grow into it so we can use it into the fall/holidays. Let's face it, no matter how cute you dress them, they're going to run around in it. So, it needs to be affordable and breathable, right? It's a plus that it's a thinner fabric (decent hand to it, it's not a heavy fabric like men's suiting) so a busy toddler isn't soaking wet in it when they're burning off energy after behaving for 1-2 hours during whatever event. Because that's what they do when they are dressed up. As a previous reviewer stated, the white shirt that we received did have a tinge of pink to it, but was not noticeable with the whole outfit on. If they're needing to stand next to others who have bright white shirts on (i.e. in wedding photos), you may want to double check beforehand & buy another white shirt. It's machine washable, to boot. For the price, this suit cannot be beat.

I bought 3 of these suits for my three young sons (2/4/6). The sizing is pretty spot-on. The pants were a little generous, so I had them tailored to fit. My boys are short to begin with, but I think these would be fine for average and even somewhat taller boys. I plan to let the hems back out so that we will have at least the rest of the year, if not longer, for them to still fit. The jackets fit well as-is. I appreciated the vests as an added value. The boys wore the jackets for the wedding ceremony and the vests for the reception. Now, I can mix and match the items for Christmas as well. I took away a star because of the shirts. They came very stiff and scratchy. When I pre-washed and then dried them, they seemed to shrink up w/ horizontal creases that didn't fully iron out. I don't have them here to double-check if the directions say, "air-dry", but I usually check tags before tossing things into the dryer. Regardless, I would have preferred different, softer shirts even before I inadvertently "toasted" them. Shipping was just as noted. We cut it close, but they arrived on time. The jackets were a little creased, so I had them steamed out (something to note if you are also planning to get them last-minute). For the price, I was very pleased and would recommend them to the next customer w/ the added info. about the shirts. Even if you bought shirts separately, these suits are a great deal.

My son loves this suit! He has been into getting dressed up lately so this was a great way to do so! My boyfriend thought this suit was a little cheap (but he also wears a suit everyday to work so not sure his opinion is completely accurate in this case) I thought it looked great for a kid's suit at a great price. We didn't use the black tie as I thought it looked a bit formal (almost Wedding like) so I replaced it with a blue stripped tie I had bought. My son is 6 and on the slim side, he usually wears a 6 (sometimes 7) in pants and the 7 fit him just awesome! The jacket was a bit big but I expected that ordering a size up from what he normally wears. The vest and shirt fit him great as well. He wore it out all night at a family reunion and it held up well and kept it on the entire time with no complaints. When the jacket is buttoned it is hard to see the vest underneath but it might just be because the jacket was big on him. Overall love this suit and so did my son!

I ordered a size 12 for my 101 pound 12 year old son. I bought a size 12 based on his measurements and customer comments in the reviews. I was a little disappointed because the vest (though marked a 12 like the rest of the suit) was much smaller than the jacket so he wasn't able to wear it at all. The rest of the suit fit well- the pants just made it on length and the arms were a tad short (while the shirt sleeves were a little longer than the suit sleeves)- but a 14 would have been too big. I think the quality was well enough for the price- I think the buttons made it look a little more expensive than it is. I didn't want a suit that was too heavy as it was to be worn for a May wedding so I didn't mind that the suit wasn't a thicker quality material. I just felt bad about the vest being so small- he did want to wear a vest and it seemed like it was marked the wrong size because it was not able to button and also too short.... Update: June 4th, 2013, My son put the suit on (minus the too small vest) to wear to a wedding it was purchased for. After an hour of wearing it (just sitting down at the ceremony) the back of the jacket seam all came unsewn! He was very self concious about the two inch hole and he didn't wear the jacket for the rest of the wedding :(

My son is very tall for his age so I always buy a 5 even though it's a little big for him. The suit fit well, not really big at all. If anything the legs were shorter than typical 5's. It looks nice though and is a decent suit for the price.

it was basically a waste. The jacket was way too big. we took it to 2 altering shops and they both said to get a new jacket b/c it will cost way too much to alter it. The pants were able to be altered to fit. The shirt is way way too big also. Overall, it was too big and the quality wasn't very good. I didn't really get a bargain b/c I had to go spend twice as much on another suit jacket.

I was disappointed with the fit of this suit. The pants were like a slim fit and it was paired with a husky jacket that was just kind of short and wide. Also the quality wasn't great. It looked like one shoulder was longer than the other. It's difficult to find a well made boys suit.

The suit was as I expected for the price. It looked nice enough to wear for a wedding. The material was slightly thin, but looked good so I was happy. The inner shirt is also thin and not very soft. It would have been good to wear for a short time, but I would have bought a softer shirt if my son had worn it a long time. My son is tall and narrow so I took the pants in a bit, and I would have had to have the jacket taken in, but he ended up not wearing it. There is elastic in the back of the pants so the pants would fit very nice on a wider child. The clip-on tie looks very nice. My son was sad he had to wear a different one for the wedding.
