Casio Collection Womens Digital Watch A700WE with Stainless Steel Strap

This is a really lovely watch. It is only 6mm thick and super light. It hides away up any type of sleeve easily. Being one of Casios unisex Vintage style watches it’s good for wearing by anyone who likes the look and dimensions of it. It’s a slim, compact and nicely made piece, and eye catching also. Very linear and shiny. It has a very clear display and a lovely orange backlight for night viewing. The hints of colour on the face are a nice touch. If you’re like me and hate bulky watches and you’re in the market for a slim and compact smart / casual watch I’d give it a look. I have fairly thick wrists and it looks lovely on. This is a great watch, unless of course you like Big Ben on your wrist then I’d give it a wide berth! 👍🏼👍🏼

I have a few Casio watches and this one is just as exceptional as the others in its own way. This watch is lightweight, very slim and VERY comfortable on the wrist (no hairs on my arms so nothing to pull, as one person mentioned it was a "hair puller"!). Easily worn as a ladies' watch due to the non bulkiness of it depth-wise and the surround to the digital watch face and metal strap really catch the light and bounce it off from the watch like a starburst in the sunlight or spotlights. Nice and easy set up, as with most Casio watches. I'm 100% happy with this - and it is the most comfortable Casio watch I currently own to-date!

Pros: For the price it's a great looking vintage casio, in my opinion it's the best. Very smart at the same time very casual. Very good back light. Stopwatch, alarm, date function, 24 hour format. Cons: It does pull arm hair but there is a simple solution, you can either buy a strap for it or you could use a thin piece of fabric or leather and glue it to the under side of the metal strap or you could even use a little bit of masking tape or clear sticky tape to temporarily fix this issue. A metal casing would've been better and also a better quality metal bracelet that doesn't pull hair. Despite some of the cons I still think it's worth every penny and the cons are not a deal breaker. One of the other variants comes with a mesh strap, you could use that on this watch and it looks fine or a f91w plastic strap also looks decent enough but for me the metal strap it comes with looks better so I suggest glueing something to the underside of the strap to keep the original strap look but make sure to protect the casing so you don't spill any glue onto the casing or the face of the watch. Beware of the many compliments you will get though because it's just so good looking.

Beautiful watch, very dainty. Be warned this is tiny and if you have a big wrist of 7 ins plus you may find this unsuitable. Returning because of the size plus I had isseues with the clasp keep coming g open.

I bought this watch primarily for the slim case design. It’s one of the thinnest Casio watches I’ve encountered with the benefit of a mineral glass crystal. (Most inexpensive Casio watches use acrylic which is far less scratch-resistant.) The case width and height are modest too. It’s neither a great big lump of a watch like a G-Shock nor on the small side like the F-91W. It’s therefore an ideal size for men, women and teenagers. The stainless steel bracelet makes it look fairly sophisticated and you could wear this watch with a suit or other formal clothing. The case is resin so the coating will wear if you’re not careful but should last with a modicum of care. It’s water-resistant to 30m so no worries about hand- or car-washing but I’d be wary of taking it swimming. I haven’t used the stopwatch or alarm features yet (and not sure I will) but it’s good to know they’re there.

Men don’t be put off this watch advertised as a woman’s watch, it wears super comfortable probably one of the slimmest casios you can get, I have a 6.75 inch wrist and it looks great, fantastic back light that lights the whole display. Stop watch function very useful when I put food in the oven or out for a run. Alarm function, a lot of watch for the money , and I love the retro look.

Perfect watch perfect style

I bought this after the sad demise of my classic Seiko "Moonraker" digital watch and, while I wasn't expecting anything like the same quality, I was very pleasantly surprised with what I've got. It's good for the money, make no mistake. The main thing I noticed is that this is a *very* slimline watch. (I don't know, maybe why that's why it's listed as a women's watch? It seems pretty unisex to me.) The display really jumps out at you; I initially thought there was a dummy display protective sticker on the watch face but no, that's the display. I've read complaints about the light being too dim but that's just how these have always been. In fact, it's brighter than on most 70s/80s LCD watches. So yeah, very happy so far. We're almost in "disposable" territory at this price but it feels like this will last a while.

J’aime les montres CASIO car pour un petit prix, on se fait toujours plaisir ! La marque est la seule à proposer autant de modèles à affichage digital avec un style rétro et qui a peu évolué avec le temps. Ce modèle ne déroge pas à la règle : style rétro qui rappelle les années 80, joli look qui conviendra aussi bien à une femme qu’à un homme, quelques fonctionnalités souvent gadget comme le chronomètre... ça suffit pour repartir 30 ou 40 ans en arrière dans la cour d’école où tous les enfants rêvaient d’avoir une « montre à quartz ». Le petit plus de ce modèle est sa forme extra plate qui est donc confortable à porter et élégante. Le bracelet se règle facilement et nul besoin d’aller chez un bijoutier pour le mettre à taille. La montre est très légère car si le bracelet est en acier et a donc une très bonne tenue dans le temps, le boîtier, lui, est en résine pourvue d’un revêtement argenté brillant. Cela réduit certainement les coûts de fabrication mais permet donc aussi d’alléger le poids au poignet. L’inconvénient reste donc la tenue du boîtier dans le temps qui risque d’être sensible aux rayures, griffures et à la transpiration. Le réglage de l’heure et de la date est très simple et similaire à beaucoup de modèles de la marque. CASIO fournit du reste une notice multilingue avec des explications claires et complètes sur toutes les fonctionnalités et réglages. Deux petits défauts selon moi : - L’éclairage orange qui aurait pu être d’une couleur un peu plus moderne : bleu, vert.. cet éclairage pourrait du reste rester une ou deux secondes allumé quand on relâche le bouton. - la montre est déjà en fonctionnement quand elle est livrée ce qui fait que la pile n’est pas tout à fait neuve quand on commence à la porter. C’est toujours le cas avec CASIO. En bref, pour moins de 30€ on en a pour son argent avec une jolie montre au design vintage et peu de défauts. En général la pile dure plusieurs années pour peu qu’on utilise peu les fonctions optionnelles comme la lumière ou le chronomètre.

After collecting watches for many years, including some luxury pieces (Rolex, Breitling, Cartier) I now wear my Casios (a golden A168 and a silver A500) 99% of the time. The others remain in the drawer. This new entry to my Casios is absolutely stunning! It looks way better in reality than on photos! Ultra slim, very elegant, crisp display - just beautiful! Fantastic led-light as well. So much class and style for little money - no need to show off expensive watches anymore just to impress others! Highly recommend!
