I'm an esthetician and I work with many clients who struggle with severe acne. I would highly recommend this toner to anyone who struggles with acne. It's really strong and works really well. Unfortunately, it will dry out your skin if you don't use a hydrating serum or an oil controling moisturizer. Please don't make the mistake of believing the myth "If your skin is oily you don't need moisturizer". Please trust me, that is 100% false! No matter who you are but most importantly, those of you who suffer from acne, you MUST HYDRATE your skin with some form of hydrating serum (as in anything with hyaluronic acid in it) or an oil controlling moisturizer. If you use this toner but choose to NOT moisturize, you'll find that your skin will become excessively dry which will stimulate your oil glands to over produce oil to compensate for the dryness then you will find yourself in a worse acne situation than when you started. So, hydrate hydrate hydrate. Ok, now I can say that I truly love this toner and I swear by it. I have numerous clients using it and as well as a Glytone cleanser and all are seeing heat results. In fact, I trust this product so much that I use it myself.

This was recommended by my doctor for clearing up my adult acne, and it works great! I use it in the morning and before going to bed, and now I have smooth, perfect skin. I'm constantly asked by people, many are strangers, about the secret to my beautiful perfect skin, and I tell them about Glytone. I wish I had known about this a couple years earlier, but now I've been using it for over 8 or 9 years. I'm glad I found it available on Amazon so it's easier to order. Excellent product!

This product is fantastic. I've been struggling with breakouts the last year or so and I've tried so many different products. This one works! Doesn't dry my face out too much like other products do. I just finished the first bottle and I now have it on auto delivery every 3 months. I highly recommend!!

UPDATE: as of 2023, they've changed the formula. The old one had 8 ingredients. They kept 3 of those, and the new formula has 26 ingredients. It does not work for me. OLD REVIEW: I purchased this toner 5 months ago. I use this toner just about every morning, sometimes twice a day. I know very little about skincare, but I have cystic acne and very oily skin. I bought this product hoping it would dry me out and it did very well. My skin is no longer slick or shiny, but matte and mostly smooth. It's not any miracle cream, but I noticed less oil within a week and a half of using this every morning. I shower at night and often don't apply it then, but in the morning I put it on before my makeup and it keeps the slick off for a good 12 hours or so. Occasionally when I'm having a bad oil week or a breakout, I use it once in the morning and once around noon or so and I'm great until nighttime shower. It is infinitely better than oil-absorbing wipes. I have not noticed excessive drying using the toner as I do with Benzoyl Peroxide acne medication (but the 2% salicylic acid is more effective on acne than the 1% toners, for sure), just that the oil layer is gone and my acne clears up quick. If you're worried about the amount for the cost, I was too. But please, don't be. At 5 months with everyday use, my bottle is still just over halfway full. There's a lot more in the bottle than it looks like, and the bottle itself is like a Gatorade bottle. Plenty in there. I recommend fully to anyone with medium to oily skin, as an oil-absorber, toner, and/or acne control.

This toner saved my life! After years of skin abuse, accutane, the whole nine yards, I still get hormonal acne and this is the only product that has truly helped my skin. I use it in combination with a tea tree oil wash, a Vit C serum, the SCINIC Snail All in Ampoule and FAB moisturizer. This stuff works like a dream but is a little harsh so I would not recommend for sensitive skin types. Great for oil control and small pimples too!

It's a bit harsh on my skin and has a strong alcohol smell but I must say it does the job. It dries out my my acne ...faster than anything else I have used before. I'm looking for something else for the scars.

I love Glytone, it's easier to just buy the products from Amazon. After over 20 years of acne-free living, in 2016 I weirdly started getting terrible outbreaks along my jaw and the lower half of my face (probably from stress.) This toner worked miracles for me! After a short series of aggressive facials to get rid of the dead skin and reduce some of the acne scarring on my face, I'm not just trying to maintain. I use this toner on an almost daily routine to make sure my skin is turning over new cells! Now I'm break-out free with skin that's looking great!

This product was my ABSOLUTE favorite thing, UNTIL NOW. I’m pretty sure this seller just sold me water. The smell is not the same, the color is not the same, the feeling it gives me skin is not the same. DO NOT BUY.
