I 'm glad I found this product to help me. I'm on blood pressure meds and have to go every 2 hours. We usually try to stop in a forest area. But at 66, my knees are not too strong and to be able to stand and pee is so much easier. I ordered another one for my other car. I'm going to make sure to take it when we fly back to the states on a trip(we're in Germany). We use to make a list of things to buy when we went to the states, but now, I can order things on-line. I'm glad for the female adaption.

I was very happy that this design had been changed. The style with the screw on adapter was really bad. Urine collected in the threads and it never held securely and always leaked. The new one holds much more securely. Very clever design. But alas this one too is flawed. It probably works very well for able bodied women needing something for a long road trip or camping etc.If one is able to utilize a wide stance, it probably works very well. But if you have limited use of legs or lower body , this item is dosappointing. The plastic that fits on the female anatomy, is so thin and flimsy it collapses inwardly and urine runs down the edges. I guess I will have to try and find some type of epoxy to coat this with, to hold it in a more rigid position. A shame for an item that costs this much.I am convinced the manufacturer tests this using only.And let's face it, the guys can go just about anywhere. It seems to be very difficult to find an adequate female adapter

THIS PORTABLE URINAL CANME RELATIVELY QUICKLY, BUT TO KEEP IT DISCRETELY IN THE CAR OR HOME IS A PROBLEM. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THE PRODUCT COLLAPSED, BUT IT DOESNT, AND IT TAKES ALOT OF ROOM. DONT GET ME WRONG--IT WORKS--ITS JUST TOO BIG IF YOUR GOING TO USE IT OFOR CAMPING OR TRIPS,.

Does the trick! No complaints with this product. This has made road trips, camping, boating, and the like just a bit easier and more comfortable. Though I can't speak from personal experience, I have it on good authority and from a trusted source that the female adapter works well. The other good thing about this is that it's large enough to do the job, but small enough to conceal in a tote bag and empty discreetly via the proper sanitary facilities, once those facilities become available to you.

My intended use is in bed or a chair during post-surgical home recovery, in case I can't hobble to the bathroom in time. I chose this unisex model because it comes with a lid that screws onto the bottle when the female adapter is removed after use. If I have to use it and can't get up to empty it I'll have to keep the bottle most of the day or night until my next visitor arrives. I'd like it to be securely closed during the wait. The included lid screws on okay but is hard plastic like the bottle and has no malleable sealing component. They tried to make up for this by inserting a hand-cut attempted-circle of very very thin "Styrofoam?" in the lid. It doesn't fit or cover the inside of the lid so liquid will leak through the threads if the bottle is tipped or turned over. I can keep it upright and prevent spills but I don't hold much hope of containing the odor without a proper seal. It is definitely useable though and certainly cost-effective. I may appreciate it more later, LOL, and apologize for my high expectations.

SO glad I had this! I had to wear a compression garment after surgery that only had a little slit. The day of surgery it was really hard for me to sit down on the toilet and it took me forever to pee, and at times I would get pee on my garment- (eww!) and this thing was a lifesaver! Loved it and well worth it!

My husband is out all day in his truck, and with a slightly enlarged prostate (sorry honey!) he has to pee often. And if he stopped somewhere with a bathroom each time, he would waste a lot of time. So when he has to go, he pops into the back of his truck and uses this. Seals tightly and doesn't leak.

I ordered this product to help with care for an aging parent. First of all, functionality of the product did not work very well. I have to admit though that the primary use was for a bed ridden patient and may not be the primary intent of the product, but logistically it did not work for that scenario. I tried not to dislike it solely for this as it may be more user error. The build quality was the real problem however. The white cup piece used to "shield" was pretty sharp around the edges. Being thin and sharp is not a good combination when being placed....well you know. Secondly the seam in the bottle was not sealed well where they molded the plastic. I filled it with tap water initially to wash it and it leaked through the seam. Needless to say, this just wasn't a functional product and made its way promptly to the trash can.
