Art of Junji Ito: Twisted Visions

I can't express absolutely how much I love this book! This artbook has 132 pieces in it, including pieces that were thought to be lost media. They cover a huge range of style, from tame to incredibly gory. There's also a range of mediums used and the scans of his pieces even include the detail the piece was made on (e.g. the surface of the canvas and individual paintstrokes). The index is so incredibly detailed and Ito gives his opinion on each piece in the book along with the materials used to make it. It also includes an exclusive and lengthy interview along with an afterword about his (at the time) 30 years of doing art. I couldn't recommend this more, it's an amazing book for references, inspiration and art appreciation.

Lovely book full of junji ito artworks, no scratches or ripped oranges, the delivery person gave it with care. Honestly if you want to see special junji ito artworks then get it!! It’s worth the price and it’s double the size of junji itos manga :))

Haunting and beautiful, just what I’d expect from Junji Ito. The book itself is of very good quality, both the cover and pages look pristine.

Perfect for fans of Junji Ito or horror alike. Comes with a lot of coloured illustrations and pages from his stories handpicked by Ito himself, along with a lengthy interview and comments on every page in the book.

The front of the book was all scratched up so I returned it and asked for a refund.

Fenomenal edición, tapa dura y excelente calidad de las impresiones. Un repaso de las obras más famosas de Junji a través de sus más reconocibles escenas e ilustraciones. Muy recomendable para fans de Junji o del género de terror Fantástico. Volvería a comprarlo!!

melhor do que eu imaginava! tem imagens coloridas e preto e branco, em papeis de tipos diferentes. é muito legal ver a evolução de ito no desenho no decorrer do livro, rever cenas tão cuidadosamente criadas e poder analisar melhor cada imagem. tirando esse papel prateado que me pegou de surpresa! sem dúvidas um dos melhores investimentos até hoje.

Dobry album sztuki mistrza horroru Junji Ito. Dobor prac jest roznorodny. Zdarzyly sie ze dwie prace ktore mi do gustu nie podpadly, natomiast sztuka jest subiektywna. Czesc z wywiadem jest rowniez interesujaca. Poleca sympatykom sztuki horroru jak i kolekcjonerom.
