I am a medical student studying for my boards, and I love this chair so much that I had to take a study break to write this review months after purchasing! I ordered this chair in brown (was contemplating many colors) and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The item is very, very high quality - the metal is beautiful, sturdy, and has held up very well with use. The chair is extremely easy to assemble. Like many others, I did not end up using the arm rests so I could slide the chair in close to my desk while I work. However, it looks beautiful either way! Regarding comfort, which is the most important thing to me, this chair is the most comfortable of any I have used in my 10+ years as a student. I have spent almost 12 hours every day for the last 3 months preparing for my boards, and I have ZERO back pain, butt pain, leg pain, etc. I am quite tall and have a long torso, so it is difficult to find a chair with adequate lumbar support. I was surprised to discover that this chair is perfectly fit to my body. It also supports my roommate's back perfectly too (she's 5'4), so I hope shorter customers don't think this won't work for them! PURCHASE THIS CHAIR. It is top of the line in looks, quality, and comfort.

I purchased this chair for my home office. It arrived in just a few days and was super quick and easy to assemble. It only took about 10 minutes. It is sturdy, comfortable and stylish! It looks awesome with my modern decor and the blue color of the fabric version which I got is rich and beautiful. Ok, so we already know I'm a fan of this chair - but the customer service is truly what will bring me back to this fantastic seller over and over again. SO responsive, SO courteous, SO helpful, SO professional - and they actually resolved my issues (which to be clear, were from an ordering snafu on MY end - NOT theirs). Laura Davidson Furniture - thank you for restoring my faith that EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE can in fact exist online! Thank you for your professionalism - you left a lasting impression. It isn’t cheap but it is sturdy, extremely easy to assemble, and it looks good. The only downside is comfort. It isn’t uncomfortable but if you are expecting something plush or that cradles you, look elsewhere. I have a standing desk so it’s good for me as it encourages standing over time and is comfortable enough for 30+ minutes sitting. I’d buy it again barring it doesn’t wear out prematurely.

I bought four of these chairs for our small business conference room. These were to replace a set of faux leather chairs I bought several years ago (made by another company), which, frankly I would not have had to replace if it were not for the “pleather” pealing and cracking and eventually looking pretty bad. It’s a shame to have to replace a set of otherwise perfectly good chairs. For this reason I decided this time to go with the fabric instead of the faux leather. It’s not easy to tell from the photos or description, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the material soft to the touch. The cushions themselves are quite firm and feel very high quality. Even the wheels feel quality made — they must be made of hard rubber instead of plastic because the chairs roll very quietly on wood floors. The only issue I had with these was with assembly on 2 of the 4 chairs. Fabric got pinched in the bolt holes where the arms are attached, making it impossible to completely screw the bolts in. So after taking the arms back off, then picking out the fabric with a sharp knife, I was able to easily screw the bolts in.

The chair is easy to assemble when it arrives in a large box. You need to put the casters on the base, slide the pneumatic tube into the base, put the chair on top, and then add the armrests if you want. It took me less than ten minutes to put it together (including adding the arms). Virtually all of the chair is either metal or the vinyl used in the seat. The only plastic components (that I can see) are the caster wheels, a piston in the pneumatic tube, and some spacers in the arm assembly. As a result, the chair feels very solid and stable, and it neither looks nor feels cheap. The vinyl is thick and feels solidly attached to the aluminum frame. It also comes already attached so you don't have to do that yourself. The vinyl seat and back are firm with very slight give to them. They're not soft, but they're not uncomfortable like a hard plastic chair might be. The lower back is shaped to make it ergonomic if you're sitting up straight, so it's actually pretty comfortable. I've been working from home due to COVID so I've been using the chair a lot every day, but I haven't had any issues with discomfort. I haven't had any issues with heat, even when it has been hot in my apartment, but since it's vinyl it's not very breathable. If you live in a hot, humid environment, you might have trouble with that. I'm 6'3" (or 190.5 cm), and the back of the chair comes up to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I haven't felt like that has caused any issues and my back still feels supported by the seat. I weigh about 230 lbs. (~104 kg.) and the chair feels completely sturdy when I sit in it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The seat on the cheap office chair that I had before was losing its padding and the lower back support was a piece of floppy plastic, so it didn't do much. Since I'm in the chair all day, I wanted to spend a little extra money on a replacement that would hopefully last longer than those cheap mesh-backed, all-plastic chairs normally do. I've had the chair for about a month so far and I think it still feels the same as when I first started using it.

I love this chair. I ordered the red, and I was hoping for a nice light bright red, not a deeper ugly red. Well, it's a gorgeous red in person, very close to the listing picture, maybe even a bit brighter lipstick red. The chair was easy to put together. I had the chair itself together in 5 min, then I fiddled with the arms for maybe 10 min more. I swapped out the wheels for some very fabulous ergonomic office chair wheels I already had. The kind they use on inline skates. Man, that chair really flies now! :) The seat was a bit firmer than I thought it would be, so I use a gel seat cushion that makes it more comfortable for me to sit for long periods in the chair. I covered it with some cute material and am thinking about hunting for a cushion cover that works with the red and the other colors in the room. Soon. But for now I am very happy with the chair. It is very good quality for the price, and with the addition of the ergonomic wheels and seat cushion, it really performs well in my office. And since I spend all of the morning there, and sometimes early afternoons, the chair can't just look great. It has to perform well. This one does!

The chair looks great, and much of it is chromed iron/steel so it feels like good quality. The faux leather is a bit fake looking on close inspection but generally looks good and is what I'd hoped for. What I like most about the chair is that I've forgotten about it when sitting in it every day. It functions, its comfortable, it doesn't creak - its just a good chair. Its a bit sweaty on hot days but they also sell a mesh version that I had looked at as well. Happy with this version!
