SigTac Standard 2009/2022/220/226/227/MK25 Paddle Holster, Black, Right

Good OWB holster. With a minor modification you can carry your P226 Mk25 even with the indicator up. I bypassed the LCI on my Mk25 by filing down about a 5/8 of an inch section inside the top part of the lip within the holster. With some adjustments on the retention bolt, it’s a perfect fit. Although it sits a little higher than I’d like, its solid. Looking forward to breaking it in and pulling some draws @ the range.

Okay, I'm a retired Law Enforcement Range Master and survival shooting instructor. I now work in a gun shop where we sell Kydex holsters many times the cost of this one. I bought this for my SIG 2022 for three reasons, (1) Unbelievable price, 1/3 the price of competition. (2) The name, genuine SIG SAUER, a European company that always holds to the highest standards. (3) Quality, manufactured by the Israelis who make the finest combat proven tactical gear on the planet. In my entire (California) Law Enforcement Range Master career, I never found any better that Israeli tactical equipment. I'm going to buy extra of these at this price so I'm confident my SIG 2022 will be at my side comfortably and securely.

Took a chance and ordered this for the GSG Firefly 22. It fits but not a perfect fit. Can be used. Cants to the front which I don't like but for the price it gets the job done. If you tighten the screw down I don't think there is a fear of the gun falling out, but it does not snap in as I would like it to. More of a wedge fit. For $14 dollars it works.

This holster is every bit as good as any other I've bought for my other firearms and about 1/3 the price. Yes, the cant isn't adjustable, so if you don't like that angle you won't like it, but this is the angle that I use on all my OWB holsters, so it's perfect for me. Retention is solid and easily adjustable. BTW, it will not fit the SP2340 for anyone wondering. Even though the 2340 is almost exactly the same as the 2022, and most parts can be swapped between the two, the rail on the 2340's frame is a bit wider.

I am very happy with the purchase. I did not expect the quality to be so good for the money. It even has Sig Sauer logo. Feels very good in hand. Fits perfect the weapon. I like that there isn't a lock button like the others, with this one they provide tool to tighten or loose the holding mechanism which makes it faster to draw out the weapon. The only downside is that the belt part is very short and does not fit very well to my belt. May be it is built for 5.11 belts.

Nice holster to put P226. Doesn't make the audible click but has good retention.

I have a Sig Sauer P226-MK-25-CA (California compliant model). This holster does not fit this gun when there is a 9mm round in the chamber. The reason is, the P226-MK-25-CA model has a small "wing" at the top of the slide that indicates when there is a round in the chamber. The mechanical "wing" pops up slightly. This is a challenge when you want to holster the pistol again as the holster bumps into this "wing" and you can't completely holster it. I gave this a three stars because when there isn't a round in the chamber, it really does seem to fit the P226 nicely, and I really do like the holster a lot otherwise. As this is a plastic holster, a potential wrok around would be to shave the plastic carefully in that area to accommodate for the "wing" being up when there is a round in the chamber. The "wing" only affects a small upper section of the holster. As this is a genuine Sig Sauer item, I just wish they were more clear with the advertising that it will not fit a P226-MK-25-CA model with a round in the chamber.

I thought this holster being so cheap would be another thin owb holster that took little effort to break but I'd try it out because it was so cheap. It's actually a pretty decent holster. Thick and rigid with adjustable, good retention. Fits the sp2022 like a glove and rides really nice on the hip. Definitely buying another for a spare. Not a concealed carry holster because of how far it rides away from you but a pretty good owb holster for my hunting, hiking, and around the house needs.
