Q: Why is water leaking from the filter system?

Leaking is most commonly caused due to tubing not being pushed in completely or the tubing is cut jagged. Tubing must be pushed into the quick-connect fitting 1/2" from the end of the open tube. Tube must have a clean cut, straight cut.

Q: How do I know the tubing was connected thoroughly?

To connect, measure 1/2" from the end of the tubing, and mark with a permanent marker. Push tubing into the inlet until it stops. Tubing should be pushed into the quick-connect so that the mark lines up with the lock sleeve.

Q: Why is water pressure low upon release?

After installing or replacing your filter, the water must completely saturate the carbon block inside of the filter. This may take a few days.

If you're experiencing a slow flow rate, this is likely due to a clogged filter and it should be replaced.
