Incredible Piece of Music, poor choice of song order
I grew up watching the DVD of this concert, so I was really excited to buy it on vinyl now that I’ve properly started my audiophile journey. First of all, the record sounds amazing. It features some of their best songs and performances and the whole album has such a laid back vibe. That said, I have one major gripe: the track order. Not only does it not match the sequence on the DVD I grew up listening to (though I don’t actually know what was the original sequence when it first aired), but it also starts with the absolute most inappropriate track to open with, “Get over It.” The reason I say this is that it makes zero sense for an “unplugged” album to open with the loudest, heaviest and fastest song on the whole record. It’s then followed by one of the slowest, softest ballads on the album, “Love Will Keep Us Alive.” This makes no sense whatsoever. The good thing about having four sides to choose from is that you can just start with whichever one you want. Frankly, “Get over It” should not even be on this record, but I guess I’ll just have to get over it.

One of the best live albums ever
I have when Hell on cd and vinyl. While the sonic differences aren’t extreme, I could listen to this album over and over.I did an AB comparison with a friend of mine that is a big Tidal fan and rightfully so. I made used a DB meter to make sure volumes we as close as possible, and calibrated my turntable to about as close to 33 1/3 most humans can get.He could tell the difference and really likes the sound stage of vinyl. At the end, we both agreed that either release is worth listening to.(FYI, for those that care, my gear is all tube amplification, and I have separate streamer and DAC. I was gifted and is considered one of the marvels of engineering in the late 1990’s)

Great quality album - Made in Germany
Definitely the best sounding album in my collection - Hotel California sounds amazing in this mastering. The LPs are great quality, sturdy while the record mastering is also high quality of crispy and bright sound on my HiFi setup: Marantz TT15S turntable with moving magnet Clear Audio cartridge, Marantz AV7706 pre-amplifier, Marantz amplifier, Yamaha equalizer, Klipsch Legend loudspeakers (200 Watt per channel). Made in Germany indeed matters and I recommend a buy for this album👍.

Regarding the DTS CD
Hey everybody! There's already a number of reviews here regarding the DTS CD, but let me chime in: this is one of the finest Surround music experiences I've had so far, and I have Avalon SACD at home, Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms, Dark Side of the Moon, or Alan Parsons' Valid Path. This is a highly recommended disk, the separation is just outstanding, and the sound quality is pristine. Dynamic and crystal clear, and you truly feel surrounded. In addition, if you have the stereo version, you will know that it has the four new songs (Get Over It, Girl From Yesterday, Learn to be Still, Love Will Keep Us Alive) at the beginning as studio versions. Well, this DTS version omits the studio recordings, but you get more of the actual concert: all four new tracks are included as live versions. So even if you already have the original CD, this is well worth adding to your collection. All you need to play this back is a CD or DVD player with digital output, and a DTS capable receiver to decode it. You can still find this CD reasonably cheap. Go for it, guys. Highly recommended.
