Good Quality! - Cable did the trick for me.
Cable did the trick for me. Had the transducer attached to trolling motor forward on my pontoon, and cable wasn't long enough to reach helm. I don't trailer my boat, and like to remove the trolling motor at end of year. With this extension I was able to hard wire at the helm, but also have the ability to remove the trolling motor by disconnection where cables join. Can't work under the boat so was able to run cable on outside edge of boat to serve my needs. Did not appear to effect quality of signal, but I wouldn't use more than one extension.

Easy installation
Worked great because my line was to short

Works like a charm - no signal loss
This was the perfect solution to the installation on my 24' pontoon boat. The cable that came with the Garmin echo 551dv fishfinder I bought was about 3' too short, since I had to mount the transducer on the port side pontoon due to the swim ladder being too close to the right pontoon. I was a bit afraid of this effecting the quality of the signal, but in the long run (no pun intended...) it worked out great! I have no signal loss and the install was solid and something that I will trust for years to come!

Perfect extension cable
I have the Garmin Striker Plus 4Cv and I missed putting it where I wanted by 3". It worked great and I haven't noticed any problems with the Striker now that I have a total 30 feet of cable. The extra cable is coiled up and up tied under my helm.

Works well
Used this on my '88 Proline 28 WA as I needed the additional cable to reach from the console to rear of boat. I like the locking mechanism it has to make sure the connection does not come loose. Works well.

Perfect, but crazy expensive for what it is.
This is ridiculously expensive for what it is.

Money saved
This fixed the issue, if your cable is bad it can be spliced as long as it is above the water.

True OEM Product
Was concerned because one of the other reviews indicated this was not the Garmin cable. But it is and worked perfectly.
