I think in this case, you need to adjust the position of the gate bracket and limit switch B. Also please increase the stall force and decrease the soft stop period. May I ask if your Gate Opener is set on the Pull to Open or the Push to Open mode? If it is a Pull to Open Gate, first release the clutch and manually set the gate at the opening position. The arm should be fully retracted at the moment. Fix the Gate Bracket. Then engage the clutch, use the remote control to close the gate, then adjust the limit switch. If the gate is closed too tight, the limit switch should be adjusted inward. If it is a half-way close, the limit switch should be adjusted outward. The Push to Open Gate is just the opposite. Please first release the clutch using the key, then manually set the gate at the closing position, so the arm should be retracted to the upmost. Please fix the Gate Bracket. Then use the key to engage the clutch, use the remote control to the open the door, then adjust the limited switch. If the door is opened beyond where it should be, then the longer limit switch should be adjusted inward a little bit. If it is a half-way open, the limit switch should be adjusted outward. Please also disconnect the circuit board from the power source, turn the Potentiometer A clockwise to the maximum to increase the stall force, then turn the Potentiometer C counterclockwise to the minimum to decrease the soft stop period. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a dependable, easy-to-program gate opener. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It'll work if you put some work into it *by J***N on January 9, 2023* If your gate is on the heavier side of the spectrum don't use the bolts they provide you with. Welding the brackets together is your best bet. Otherwise your gate will constantly work the bolts loose. I even tried nylon lock nuts with lock washers. Those lasted longer than what they give you but still worked themselves loose. There was a lot of fiddling and adjusting to make it work just right. Like making sure the opener put a little bit of tension on the gate when it closes so the lock will clear the pin when you open it instead of getting wedged and popping the fuse. Getting yourself some extra fuses isn't a bad idea. Follow the measurements they give you when determining how far you want the gate to open. That's important. It wouldn't be a bad idea either to get some grease. I put it on the pins holding the arm in place and the latch inside of the lock. Moving parts, lubrication. Don't over tighten the limit switch. It's plastic. It will break. Don't listen to the voice that tells you just a little more. Just get it snug. On the bright side if you do break the limit switch it is cheap and easy to replace. Wiring is straight forward. If you can read you can wire this thing up. Keep the wires from rubbing anywhere during operation and save yourself future headaches. Zip ties, wire, whatever you can use to keep wires in place. Don't use tape. The batteries they recommend for the solar panel setup work just fine. Tech support is not great. They give you two options to get ahold of them, email and a phone number. The phone number gives you a recording that tells you to email them. It's a good setup.
