Belle-V Kitchen's Unique Ergonomic & Crafted, Hand Polished Ice Cream Scoop, Silver (Right Handed)

This is piece of art that works really well, too. It feels good to pick up & use -- the weight is a little bit heavier than you might expect, and the scooping motion is so smooth and easy. We ended up being so happy with it that we've bought several others to give as gifts. We get comments on how unique & stunning it is. And we're finding ourselves using it more frequently than we'd thought... maybe we're subconsciously buying more ice cream now?

Beautifully designed from all angles. They are beautiful, in all finishes. They feel so good in your hand as you pick them up you almost don't care whether you have any ice cream in the house or not. And they work wonderfully well, angled for exactly the right scooping process. Gave them as gifts...to glowing reviews all around. Can't wait for the next utensils they take on and redesign!

As others have noted, the price is steep. I was willing to pay that for this item assuming it delivered on the goods. It works well. So what's the scoop?At the Belle-V website, there is a page called "Story" ([...]). It shows a cut-in-half longitudinal section of the handle of a polished finish scoop, presumably the stainless model sold at this page. The picture shows a solid metal handle.This is not how my Belle-V stainless scoop is constructed. The handle is hollow. No, it does not feel flimsy as a result of this. But the image on the manufacturer's site is dishonest about the construction of the item. I believed I was purchasing an item with a solid steel handle, especially when the associated section of the pages is discussing its "heirloom quality."The text about "all-metal construction" is true. With a hollow handle, though, it's kind of like saying a balloon has "all-rubber construction."While the item is still nice to use, each time I use it I am reminded about the marketing and that the design team behind Belle-V doesn't care to let the customers for their luxury product know the full story.

Everything about this product excels ... the extra packaging (nice pouch), the reveal (it is not small/perfect portion size), the ergonomics and sturdy handling. Every household should have one! Seriously, look no further, the stainless steel finish keeps it easy to clean and it looks fabulous !

Really-I didn't think it made a difference, but the reviews were so glowing I had to try. OMG it's positively organic.It's Ergonomic! It's Efficient! It's Gorgeous. It fits in the hand as comfortably as an old baseball glove.Almost too beautiful to use, I wish everything was designed with such thoughtful attention to comfort, utility and design. Glad I took the plunge. The OXO is going back. It's prehistoric in comparison!

Excellent scoop, not worth the money. This product is VERY over-priced at 50$
