Lion Brand Yarn Vel-Luxe Yarn, One skein, Dusty Pink

This yarn makes the coziest things. I used it for a little biscuit making zone for the kitties, and they are working overtime with it. I think this yarn would make a super soft and cuddly stuffy or a scarf to nuzzle your neck up against.

My Grandmother isn't crazy about working with this, but the result is so worth it! Insanely soft and beautiful!!

As long as I don’t need to frog too much, it’s great. Minimal shedding (compared to Loops & Threads Royal Velvet which is a nightmare). However when frogging be very gentle and avoid frogging if possible. This yarn is not strong. It breaks easily. The ends of the yarn will also shed off if your not careful. That’s to be expected with velvet yarn.

This was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. The yarn is soft, but does have some issues with balding. Nothing noticeable once it’s used. I had a Vel-luxe in another color and it was much thicker than this. I was hoping for the same, but it is still soft and pretty.

Great to work with. Amazing material. I can’t wait to knitt something with it. It doesn’t bunch up if you mess up and start again. Amazing quality

I really wanted to love this yarn. It’s so beautiful and so soft to touch. However like a few people have mentioned, the threads fall apart easily and difficult to crochet. If you’re a beginner please avoid using velvet yarn or this yarn in particular and use acrylic and cotton first. I crochet this bunny for my mom as a beginner and it was so difficult to see the stitches and I had to redo a lot of the stitches which took me a long time to finish this project. Non the less it’s so soft and I like how it feels when crocheting.

Truth- I haven’t used it yet!I bought this on another website.When I received it I realized I probably need at least 2.The original website was out.So I took a chance an bought a second one from Amazon!The colors matched perfect…. It’s soft and sturdy!I don’t know a lot about yarn, but ….I can tell you it’s perfect to use for a baby gift!

I looove it! Such value for money I,got a ton of velvet hair scrunchies out of one cake and it was very easy to use super soft and this is my first time using velvet yarn, minimal shedding my only wish is that it had a larger colour way
