Salomon Men's XR Mission CS Trail Running Shoe

Ive been doing mudders for a while now. first mudder was Mud factor, now that ones just straight fun only they kinda down graded and are now making you buy your beer and shirt so it kinda sucks now ( and im not even a drinker LOL ) anyways i wore my first pair of salomon to that event and while everyone is slipping and sliding all over the hills or should i say mountains cause thats realy what we were climbing, i zoomed right by them with ease incredible grip just love the comfort and light weight...i now own 2 pairs of running shoes in the iguana green and the moab orange and a couple of the XT's for a more serious competitionlike the Tough mudder...

This shoe has been the 3rd pair I have bought. Lightweight and very comfortable. Large toe box. The sole is larger than most trail running/hiking shoes which is great for support on uneven terrain. They are well padded on the insoles as well as the sole itself. The CS XR Mission model has more protection/fabric than the XR Mission and I own both. This specific one is a bit better for damp and cool trails. I have no negatives to say. I have owned other brands in the past and hands down this has been the best. I will continue to buy as long as Salomon continues to make this model.

This is the perfect trail or cross train shoe. Very light weight. Has a slightly large outer sole which greatly improves stability. I now have 6 SALOMON running and trail shoes and I know I can count on the same perfect fit in my size every time which makes mail order easy. Most of my other SALOMONs are water proof but can be a bit hot in the summer heat in Florida. This XR Mission has "Clima Shield" which makes the outer toe area and sides resist dirt and moisture leaving the shoe very cool and dry in the heat.

Great all around shoe for walking, hiking and running. Great support, fit, comfort, weight, and ventilation. This is my third [air salomons. highly recommend these shoes.

Heel cup was too shallow for me, and not much padding on the forefoot compared to the midfoot and heel.
