Not sure of sizing, however worked perfectly, and good quality.

What is the temperature rating for this hose; i.e., can it handle extremely hot water?

You do not note the degree of water you are concerned about, but we use the hoses for regular household hot water at around 140F. The Eastman hose is rated from 15F to 158F.

is pipe threading(will it connect to 1'2" pipe thread)?

Yes... as long as both are NPT theated.
