Had to replace my old one
After 25 plus years of hard use I had to replace my old Ridgid vacuum not because it didnāt word but because the hose just finally collapsed. I didnāt think twice just bought another Ridgid and am I happy. Lots of attachments an I love the blower ability

Does NOT come with a 2 1/2" hose. It's 1 7/8".
Even on the Ridgid website, in 2 places, it states 2 /12" hose. IT IS NOT! I just got off the phone with Ridgid and was told that the attachments needed are for the 2 1/2" hose, but this hose itself is only 1 7/8". So I guess they stuck 2 1/2" adapters on the end of a 1 7/8" hose and that allows them to claim that the hose is 2 1/2". What a crock!
