Little Martin LX1R Acoustic Guitar with Gig Bag, Sitka Spruce and Rosewood Pattern HPL Construction, Modified 0-14 Fret, Modified Low Oval Neck Shape

I am a 66-year-old woman with small hands, and this guitar fits me well. It plays very nicely and has a decent tone. Made in Mexico, but the construction appears to be excellent, with good attention to detail. Be aware, however, this guitar is not made from100% traditional woods, but the back, sides, and neck are some type of high-tech material that resembles wood but is supposed to be more durable. It does resonate similar to wood. The top appears to be of real spruce. Comes with a nice padded gig bag.

My husband wanted a smaller guitar for sitting in the chair and casually picking. This Little Martin is perfect. He was particularly pleased with how well made it is and how resonant and great the sound is. Very nice instrument.

I bought this Martin for my 13yr old daughter. It was a perfect size for her and has a great sound. Not to mention its beautiful woodwork. Completely satisfied.

Plays better than expected

I bought this guitar because I wanted better sound than my Martin Backpacker. It’s now become my favorite guitar to play whether I’m traveling or at home. Yes, it does not have the full deep sound of a dreadnought, but you’ll be surprised how much volume and bass tone you get from this guitar. Comes with a nicely padded gig bag, but buy the hard case and you’ve got a real road warrior. Bottom line, it’s a great travel instrument with stage capable sound.

Amazing tone for the size. Easy and fun to play. Love it.
