Very comfortable and breathable straps (my back did not get sweaty after hiking all day). I use it mainly for day hikes to carry water bottle and lunch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic backpack *by L***S on May 8, 2023* Great quality. Well worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pack. Holds a lot. Has a completely separate compartment (not insulated) for water bladder *by C***K on October 5, 2022* The only thing I don't like about this pack is that the water bladder compartment is not insulated. I'm not exactly sure why someone WOULDN'T want insulation, unless they were going out for days and wanted to save a few ounces on weight. This is a day pack, though, so I would think insulation would benefit just about anyone. However, the water bladder compartment is big enough to hold a 3L bladder inside an insulation sleeve, which makes up for it. The hook to hold up the bladder is for the company's proprietary bladder rather than a generic hook. So I would either get one of their bladders (I didn't because of mixed reviews) or one that has a bit of internal structure to it (which is fairly easy to find).The compartment for the water bladder is completely separate from the rest of the pack, which I see as a real benefit. Many packs have a pocket for the bladder rather than a completely separate compartment.The water hose comes out the center of the pack, so theoretically you could use it on either side, but there is only a clip to actually hold the hose on one side.The pack is adjustable for different torso lengths, which is something I haven't seen before and is a definite bonus. I'm average height for a man (5'10"), but I still lengthened it a bit so the pack sat more on my hips.The waist belt is comfortable, as are the straps. I did not get overly sweaty using the pack.The construction is very sturdy.
