Love this! We bake our homemade pizza outside on the gas barbeque grill. We turn the grill on high and close the lid to preheat. When the internal temperature is about 500 degrees, we put the freshly made pizza crust on parchment paper, then on a pizza stone and put it on the bottom rack of the hot grill for about 4 minutes to precook the crust. After 4 minutes, we use a spatula to slide the pizza crust and parchment paper off the stone and on to the peel. We leave the stone on the grill but move it to the top shelf. We bring the crust inside, remove the parchment paper, put sauce, cheese, and toppings on the crust. When the pizza is ready to go we easily slide it from the peel to the piping hot pizza stone. In 15 minutes use a spatula to slide it from the hot stone to the peel and are ready to enjoy fresh, hot pizza!

Gorgeous!
I LOVE this board and it was too pretty to tuck away, so we through a hook up on the wall for display when out of use. We make pizza on the reg, so this is a must have for our kitchen. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 Stars is because the wood is a little softer than I had hoped and really indents when you go to slice the pizza. After quite a few uses, it looks kind of cool- but the quality could use improvement! Other than that, it's fantastic!

Handy. Pretty. Good value.
I love this cutting board. I use it for serving all kinds of dishes as well as cutting pizza. It is very pretty. Very lightweight. It is not holdinguptokives or pizza cutters as much as I hoped it would. It is much better than bamboo however. I highly recommend it.

Pizza cutting board
Love the cutting board. No big enough for a pizza... But it's light...little more red the I expected, gave it 4 stars because it's smaller then a normal size pizza

Great Pizza Peel
This has been a great addition to my homemade pizza making adventures. I heat up a 12" x 12" granite tile on the grill as my cooking stone and slide the fresh pizzas onto the stone with this peel. The peel is just the right size to make a roughly 11" to 12" pizza. Also, it is thin and lightweight, yet very sturdy and well made. The tapered outer edge makes it easy to pick the completed pizza up from the stone too. This is a winner and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make homemade pizzas.,

Good but inconsistent quality- See updates below
This is a great and attractive peel. It is thin, lightweight, and the edge is "sharp" or tapered enough to be very useful.I built a wood-fired backyard brick oven - primarily for pizza. I had been using metal peels and pans for building the raw pizzas, but the pizzas really stick to the aluminum surfaces and we've had trouble getting the pizzas off the peel. This wood peel seems to be the best solution. I can more easliy slide the pizzas off this wooden peel and temprarily onto a preforated loading peel for insertion into the oven (the loading peel requires a long - 60" handle for our oven).UPDATE: I placed an order for 3 more of these peels based on my experience regarding my first one. I'm sad to say that the quality is inconsistent. One of the last 3 needs to be sanded more, and one has a very uneven tapered edge - appears to have been tapered by a total novice. I'm lowering my original rating due to this inconsistency and lack of quality control. One additional note: All four of my Mountain Woods peels have knots in the wood. Not a huge deal - but also not like the product photo. They should show the product with the knots.UPDATE (09/10/2015): These are all holding up great...they have received a good deal of use with our backyard oven. And, they are fairly easy to sand to a better, more usable edge if you have or have access to a belt sander.

they are working great. I would also use them to serve cheese ...
I purchased two of these. I cook my pizzas on a cast iron skillet, but I transfer them to these pizza peels for cutting and serving. So far, they are working great. I would also use them to serve cheese on. My one complaint is that there is an engraving on one side with the company name and PIZZA PEEL, only the L didn't come out. My grandkids think its very amusing that grandma has "PIZZA PEE" on her cutting boards. It's just one side but both boards I ordered had the same defect.

Great value
For the price you can’t go wrong. Very nice color, nice size, and shape. I have it displayed with several other rustic cutting boards on my counter top. No issues with a glued sticker as some described. It does have “PIZZA PEEL” printed on one side, but The writing is not unattractive and the other side does not have any writing.
