Ibanez UTA20 Ultralite Tremolo Arm for Ibanez Edge-style Tremolo Units

I'm really happy with this whammy bar. It's light, looks good and feels right. I wish there was one that fit the ZR trems on my other ibbys.

This thing is bad ass, gives great control over the trem. I have it installed on my JS1200 with Edge Trem, my slightest movement and this thing responds. Also for me the bigger arm just feels better in hand than the original. I just wish it cost less so I could put it on my other Ibanez's. Ah well. Speaking for myself its great. YMMV.

I knocked off a star because it's too expensive ibanez! So the value is hard to see. But once I played on one, I knew the value was there. I also found it cheaper here on Amazon than anywhere else. They were 33% cheaper than the major music store prices for this item. If the normal price was the 33% off like i paid, I'd go 5 stars. The feel of this bar is so much better. It still flutters when I need it, just easier to control flutters and less noise when making contact with the bar itself. Tap a metal trem bar flick it with a fingernail, then tap this one, you'll hear how it cleans it up, dramatically. And the control and bar positioning is so much easier with a lighter bar it tends to stay where you put it and not fall with gravity. Thanks Mr Sach for getting us an improved design on an ibanez trem bar! i wish i could get this for my gotoh 1996t fitted guitars. Now ibanez please come down on that price so at least every edge trem user can enjoy.

I bought this for an RGT. I love that guitar but always felt the trem arm position was too close to the body. This arm corrected that and also transformed the action of the arm. Movements are extremely precise now and flutters and dives are both better.I liked it so much, I just ordered another one for my RG5120B which I was previously 100% satisfied with. Now the arm on that guitar feels inaccurate by comparison. One tip, the arm did not rotate as freely as I liked when first installed. I removed it and added a drop of lubricant to the poly bushings and now it is perfect. It rotates freely but also stay where you out it.

It's about half the weight of a regular arm. It fits snugly in the socket. I like it but I'm not exactly sure why - yet.

I only bought one cause it was cheaper than buying a Pia.But this bar IS worth it.

Super light weight but very expensive.It does make a difference depending on technique.

I really loved this arm before it broke, and I'm quite disappointed that it did in such a short timeframe. I'm also a VERY casual player, I only play my guitar 1-2 times a week, and I never gig or travel with my gear. I suspect this particular arm was defective and I was just unlucky, and for that reason I will be purchasing another one because I liked it so much better than the standard steel bars.
