AG Hair Colour Care Colour Savour Sulfate-Free Shampoo

This product is the best. Small amount cleans my hair and keeps the colour from fading. It's hard to find it right now at stores. This took a bit to get abd the delivery dates kept changing, but I was informed each time. Only thing I would advise the seller to do next time is put liquid products inside bags and tape lids shut. There was some spillage of the shampoo.

Been using this stuff for years. My hairdresser was baffled that my color would not last five weeks so she started using this on me and got me to try it. I love it and it is all I use. My hair type is thin and fine and this is good for daily use.

I came across AG Colour Savour shampoo when I was trying to find a paraben free shampoo due to developing a allergy to topical parabens. (Yes this was diagnosed and I would break out in blisters on my head and body with contact to any parabens.) I also wanted a great color care shampoo so I came across AG. I now can't imagine using anything else! It is so excellent and lathers so creamy even though it is sulfate free. I can honestly say that my hair is in the best health it has ever been (and I get my hair colored blonde so it easily would get dried out and break.) I orginially bought this when my hair was dark and I thought it did an excellent job of keeping my color from fading and now I have lightened my hair and I still think its great. Just all around very gentle and good cleanser for your hair.

Have used and loved this product for years. Good lather and great smell. But it irks me that a pump isn't included considering the cost and how difficult it is to handle the large bottles.

I reviewed the reviews on this product, but did not hear a word similar to my experience. I purchased a bottle for my wife and she just loved the product. and uses it regularly. Neither my wife nor I color our hair which has been graying big time, we are in our 70s, and after several months of using the product I noticed (actually we noticed) that my wife's hair started to get black again. From behind she appears to have black hair with some some white appearing on the fringes. I have no explanation for this phenomenon. Could it be that some chemical or absence of a chemical be helping? I started using the product and I notice a black shadow on the top of my head after a few months. Could this be due to the shampoo or or something else in our diet or life?By the way, We feel our hair feels just great after using this product. Love it!

I use this in conjunction with my Davines Alchemic Silver Shampoo to maintain my silver hair. I got it bleached from very dark, virgin hair (around an 8), to a white-ish silver. I try to only shampoo my hair once a week, but my virgin hair tends to get greasy, so I've been shampooing about twice a week and using dry shampoo on days that i don't shampoo (Sorry for the using the word shampoo so much, but this is a shampoo review, so?) I alternate with my Davines because it is a lot more affordable, but it definitely lathers more, which I am trying to avoid. Really good size for the price though!

I had purchased this product locally at a beauty supply and I loved the way my hair felt. I could style my hair easily. And, I loved the smell of the shampoo. However, when I received the AG shampoo through Amazon, I didn't like the way it made my hair feel, I had trouble styling it, and the smell wasn't the same. I would not purchase this product through Amazon again.

I'm really unhappy that AG has decided to discontinue their best products and replace with products like this one. Not worth the money. It was a travel size that I got and I'm very glad because the first time I used it (and by the way, last time as I have thrown it out) it made my hair feel like straw. It is completely dried out and unhealthy looking. I have used AG Peppermint wash (moisturizing) and the conditioner for years and it cleaned my hair perfectly without drying it out. Unfortunately, this product is NO product equivalent to AG Peppermint wash. I'm now trying a different company. And about the apple cider vinegar "replacement" to Peppermint Wash...I personally would much rather smell like fresh peppermint than a bag of fish and chips.

Expensive

Expensive and worth it. Keeps colour fresh. And when you consider how concentrated it is and how little you need, its price is not out of line with higher-end drugstore shampoos, which this isn't. It's a salon shampoo. Worth the money.
