Ipad and Iphone Tips and Tricks Paperback

I have been everything Apple since 1979...had the first Mac in 1984 for $2,500! This book is packed with useful information. I've used iPads and iPhones since they first appeared, and figured I 'knew it all." I didn't. I found lots of little goodies that I never knew existed. Maps had been on my iPads and phones for years. It never occurred to me they were also great GPS devices. This book turned me onto that, and I'll never use the GPS in my 2013 Toyota again. Apples' maps are clearer and more accurate.Excellent service from Amazon, as always...delivered on time, or earlier... easy to exchange or return...which I have done maybe twice in ten years! You just do things right all the time, so I have no real "need" for customer service. But, I know can it's there if I need it!Craig

This book is easy to read, but filled with useful tips for using an iPhone or iPad. It covers iOS 5 on both devices. There are a lot of iPhone and iPad books out there, but this one covers a lot of information, but in an easy to understand way. It's great for beginners, as well as more experiences iPhone or iPad users.

Book lacks a decode for the icons shown on various screens. As I am trying to learn the new interface for using my iPad verses the Microsoft windows that I grew up on.

Went to several bookstores and looked at reviews online for iPhone tips. Some books didn't offer much more than the very basics that were covered in an iPhone manual. This is the most comprehensive of all that I read. Even covers problems that you could encounter by following the instructions. Highly recommend!

I bought it for my mother in her 80's. She liked it better than the Dummy series and is going thru it while on vaca in Fla. Says she learned a lot.

I liked that it has both the the iphone and ipad tips. It helped me understand how to work both phone and tablet.

Easy to read detailed explanations with images of the screens shown. When you finish reading this you will be an expert.

This was a gift and as far as I know they have gotten a lot of use out of it!

Purchased the book for my friend who has only recently had iPad and iPhone. Didn't want a book that is too simple but one that guides her through what happens after you have switched on. By all accounts, a good book which she is finding very useful
