I'm not sure if this is exactly the same as the very first tool that I lost but it is good enough. The first one I had was more metallic, and heavier, I loved it- I had it for years- then I lost it :( I then replaced it with these amazon replacements a couple times, and I like them too. I don't really use them for divots, but for ball marks on the green.. they might not be for everyone, because you put it your pocket and one end is pointy, and you might not like that. Some folks like the switchblade tools but over time those wear out and open on their own and tend to be sharp and I find that annoying; this one is smaller than any of those and does the job so well.
