As I have purchased refill and cup holder for the egg thinking that egg was enclosed.** A: Yes I had the egg and the fillers were in separate packs. I'm quite happy with the results however not got kiddies and we are pensioners so I don't launder heavily soiled items. **Q: does it work on towels** A: It definitely works on our towels. Might not have done if the towels had been used by people who just soap up and wipe the dirt off with a towel. In fact, our towels are probably not as dirty as clothes, and so far, I've not been disappointed in washing anything. **Q: I got the 720 washes version, but nobody says how often you have to replace the black pellets. Does anyone know?** A: Mine said when the black pellets are less apparently how you can tell that for sure I don't know good luck 🙂 **Q: Can the egg be used for more than one wash cycle a day? It says it needs to dry out but os that after every use ?** A: You can do 1 wash after the other. Husband sorted it for me but I would recommend a locksmith to open it. Once the pellets are in it works perfectly. I took off one star for the egg being so hard to open but for the rest of its effectiveness I give top marks. Not much fragrance. No mess. Better than washing powder and laundry liquid.
